My neice took me here on my last trip to AZ and I loved it. It is a working farm, pick your own fruit and veggies, petting zoo, historical museum, breakfast and lunch is served, home canned goods and a train ride around the farm, they rent out for banquets, weddings and such and they even used to hold concerts out here. There is also a large campground. Great place to spend a day!

Went for breakfest and a peach muffin. The breakfast consisted of eggs under cooked, about 6 pieces of potatoes and one piece of toast. The butter was melted and the packaged cream was separating, could have at least put them on ice. The peach muffin was tasteless, expected to see a piece of peah in the muffin , nothing. Would not go back .

We visited the farm during the Peach Festival. You can pick your own fruit and pay by the pound. The kids love this activity! Peaches don't come from the produce aisle- who knew? Also for kids, the train, petting zoo, amusement park, food vendors, and lots of nature to run around and soak up some sunshine. The farm has fall festivities, too. Take the kids. Go with your sweetheart. Either way, you will enjoy life on the farm.

We visited Schnepf Farms for the first time on Mother's Day. Their Peach Festival is happening now. They had continuous hay wagons -- pulled by John Deere tractors -- going out to the orchards. The trees were laden with fruit. Our four year old grandson had the best time and got the hang of checking the fruit for ripeness right away. We do have some peaches in the three bags we picked with tiny finger holes in them. The juice just ran down his hand and he was startled. Our son and daughter-in-law opted to pick the not quite ripe fruit and also had a great time. I think next time we will plan to be out there earlier in the day because at the end of the day many of the activities had already ended. Picking peaches was well worth it and we plan to see what else there is at their u-pick farm throughout the season. It took us about an hour via freeways to get there from the north-central area of Phoenix.

Last summer we went to the peach festival at Schnepf Farms. You can walk around and pick your own peaches, or there are bags of peaches already for purchase. Also, many other attractions and products for sale. It's a huge farm and looks like a farm with lots of dirt and open spaces. The farm hosts several events during the year. You can also get a ride out to the far back to pick peaches. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We'll go back this summer for more peaches, even though the prices are a little higher than grocery stores, the peaches taste better.
