Just spent 4 nights at FireSky and was very impressed with not only the location and cleanliness of the whole property, but mostly how genuinely kind and helpful every staff member was.
The restaurant, although a tad expensive, was very tasty and a great wine selection. If you like whites, go with EVE!
The location of FireSky is close enough to all the action, but the free shuttle service they offer is top notch. Made it extremely easy to get anywhere and the drivers were always very friendly and full of information or suggestions.
I would HIGHLY recommend this resort and hope to return again soon!

Room Tip: We upgraded to a pool side room and glad we did.

This hotel has large and spacious rooms. There's a safe too - which is far too high up to reach properly if you're 5'4 like me! Our bathroom was slightly dated and the toilet placed ridiculously close to the bath but everything was very clean. My only real complaint about the room is the lighting, even with the curtains fully open. it is so dark and the lamps dotted around are not sufficient enough.

Lovely pool area with plenty of sun loungers - I miss lazing here in the 26 degree 8am heat!

This is a great hotel to stay in for a few nights in Scottsdale. The mall is a 10 minute walk, if that, and there's plenty of great restaurants within driving distance.

Breakfast at the hotel is good, large portions and plenty of choice but the service was sometimes slow.

All in all, a lovely place to stay for a few nights - would recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for a 3 day weekend and it was tremendous. The grounds were very nice, loved the pool and pool bar, and the pool servers were attentive without being obnoxious. We used the bikes every morning to ride to breakfast and it was a great way to start the day. The morning coffee bar and the newspapers where also a nice amenity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to go back often.

As part of our recent trip, I wanted one day that would be a resort day. Discovered FireSky on Trip Advisors, and after checking their web page, it appeared they were exactly what I was looking for and I was not disappointed. We started the day with a delicious breakfast on their restaurant's patio then relaxed the day away lounging by the pool. We also enjoyed our evening sitting by one the fire pits and visiting with others who sat down by us. Loved the hotel's attention to details plus the extras such as the great morning coffee provided in the main area, the ice water at the pool, and their hosted wine hour.

My wife and I spent four nights here recently while attending a granddaughter's graduation. We really enjoyed the hotel and our stay, so don't take my criticisms too seriously. My main complaint is the use of the word "resort". "First-rate, upscale, hotel" would be more appropriate. To me a "resort" impies beachfront (like a resort in Cabo San Lucas), or a private golf course, or shows (like a resort in Las Vegas). This misuse of the word "resort" seems to be common in Scottsdale: the Doubletree and Hilton down the block also bill themselves as "resorts", even if they aren't.

My other complaint is a complaint I make about virtually all upscale hotels: the bed. Everybody is into the ultra-plush mattresses with duvet covers. My wife and I both find them too soft and we swelter under the duvet. Whatever happened to blankets?

Now for some plusses: the in-house restaurant is excellent. We had breakfast every morning on the outdoor patio -- wonderful choices, all well prepared, served in a leasurely manner, which allowed us to enjoy the landscaped setting. My wife sometimes uses the spa facilities, but didn't on this trip, so I can't comment on those, other than to say they are available. Also, the location is great: Fashion Square, an upscale mall is only a half-mile away. There is a Nieman Marcus and a Nordstroms... the low-end store is a top-of-the-line Macys. If you want to shop, this is the place.

Next review on this trip: Lee's Ferry Lodge at Vermillion Cliffs.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and your feedback is much appreciated. I do hope you had a chance to enjoy a treatment from Jurlique Spa. We are a smaller boutique resort with amazing amenities.

We stayed here in July 2 years ago and it was amazing. The staff was very helpful and the pool area was fantastic. Well kept, clean and peaceful. Loved the pool area having lots of curves and turns so you can get secluded areas. I hate places that cram so many chairs in that you feel like you are sitting on top of everyone else. Loved the wine hour too. We WILL be back!! Free smore kits to use in the evenings over the fire pits was an unexpected treat.

Hotel is a renovated hotel from the 1950's and they did a really great job with the renovation. Rooms are nice and spacious and most have balcony or patio. The Hotel only has one restaurant and room service both in my opinion had limited selections especially for people with a Gluten allergy. I came here for a girls getaway and the spa was very small not what I am used to and the pool was definitely quite. If you are coming for business or want to read a book by the pool this is your place. If your coming for a girls party weekend by the pool you will probably be the loudest ones there just like were!

Room Tip: If you can select a pool view room if you don't your view will be the parking lot
