Hi Joterseb,

Thank you for your kind review. Yes, we are so fortunate to have a great location, the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. There is truly everything within a short walk.

The 12 colors used throughout the property represent the wildflowers which are indigenous to the Arizona desert. This certainly makes for a unique collaboration between landscape and architecture.

I believe you mentioned "hiking", so many great spots in the Phx/Sctd area. Where did you go?

See you soon?

Best,

We stayed here en route from CO to Mexico on a family road trip -- us, two kids, and our dog. After the armpit hotel we had in Cortez, CO, this place was a true oasis. Gorgeous style, comfortable rooms, amazing swimming pools (2!) One of the pools had music piped in that you could here when you put your ears under the water. We got some room service from the on-site restaurant and it was quite good. It is hands-down the most amazing dog-friendly hotel I've ever been in -- I felt like a real person and not "oh, you have a dog so we'll reluctantly stick you in this gross room." All in all I wish we could have stayed here longer, and if we are in the area again we would absolutely stay again whether our dog is with us or not. You should stay here!!

Hey there...........
Love your name, "FamilyWithD0g". Truly amazing the unconditional love and impact our pets have on our lives. It is so important for us to honor and respect our four legged friends. Our grounds allows us to support a pet friendly environment, as there are several areas, including the Scottsdale Park, to hang out with our friends.

You referred to the Saguaro as an "Oasis", I like that, THANK YOU so much. We are full of style, and color, so glad you enjoyed your stay. The 12 colors used throughout the property represent the wildflowers which are indigenous to the Arizona desert. This certainly makes for a unique collaboration between landscape and architecture.

I hope your family vacation to Mexico is filled full of memories!

When are you coming back? :)

Take care,

very reliable, reasonable, scottsdale hotel. rooms are not huge, but are comfortable, good restaurant. Gym is fantastic and pool is nice. A/C units are a bit noisy, good coffee maker and beds are very comfortable. Old town location offers lots of choices on restaurants and bars.

Room Tip: pool facing rooms are nice

The location is very close to old town Scottsdale.
The rooms are pretty big & clean overall.
I don't know the history of this place but it looks old but renovated.
The price was reasonable for being a weekend.
The front desk clerk could use some personality but what can you do.
I would stay here again.

Hi VicandFawn,
Thank you for your review. Yes, our proximity to Old Town Scottsdale certainly provides for much to see and do in the area. The 12 colors used throughout the property represent the wildflowers which are indigenous to Arizona, desert "Art Deco". We are glad you found our rooms the be clean and beds comfortable. We pride ourselves on our customer service. While there are other hotels in Scottsdale, we truly believe we are competitively priced in the overall market place. We greatly appreciate our thoughts, and certainly hope to see you again on your next trip to Old Town Scottsdale.

I would never stay at this hotel again. The front desk staff is rude. The hotel does not allow you to check in until 4 p.m. an the girl at the front desk gave me an attitude because I asked about my husband and I checking in early. The rooms look like they are designed for a 12 year old. The hotel is an eye-sore. It has bright colors everywhere, as do the rooms. The hotel charges extra for everything. You even have to pay to use the printer and you have to pay $5 for evey 20 minutes that you are on the internet in the business center. I travel every week for work and have stayed at hundreds of hotels and have never once had to pay to use the business center. The housekeepers never came to clean my room until after 2 in the afternoon. A lot of the staff do not even speak English. The air condiioning does not work well, either.

I just stayed here for the second time and I am just as impressed as the first. The staff are very friendly, the hotel it chic, cool and colorful. The pool is amazing, and has a great relaxed environment, and is great for taking pics. We rode the bikes through Old Town Scottsdale and that was one of the most memorable moments of our trip. I will definitely be staying here next time I am in Scottsdale. It has great proximity to everything and has affordable pricing.

We stayed here one night after a week long live-aboard scuba trip. It was so beautiful and exactly what we wanted after a week on a small boat. Comfortable bed, strong shower, great bath amenities, beautiful pool (which was the perfect temperature for a hot summer day) and very friendly staff. The price was amazing for our suite, which had great seating to visit with friends. Very nicely decorated too. As a matter of fact, the entire hotel is an explosion in color. I loved it. A very cool hotel. I would definitely stay again.
