Parking was easy in between dealerships. Museum was in the middle inside. Very nice inside easy to look at cars. Some you can not take pictures of, but nice upstairs there's a snack bar small store and lots of places to sit inside and out. There is a elevator to go up. If you can not use stairs. And its free to enter. Any racing fan should see it.

This is a nice indoor racing museum. If there were docents of the museum to talk to about the cars on display, I would give this an Excellent rating, right now only average. What would make this museum the best would be more details on the cars and who the drivers were. A hand out with more information would be extremely helpful.

The Penske Museum is a very cool place. If you have at least a passing interest in car racing it is a must.
This is a collection of Team Penske cars from several eras. One can trace the evolution of Indianapolis 500 race cars and see the changes as you walk through the museum. The cars are in pristine condition obviously having been restored to pre-race beauty. Most are accompanied by displays of the power plants that propelled them to victory with the vital statistics for each, i.e. displacement, torque, horsepower, rpms it is very cool.
There are a couple of NASCAR cars too one of them the car driven by Brad Keseloski to the championship in 2012. The car driven by Ryan Newman to victory in the Daytona 500 is also there.
The museum is surrounded by very upscale Penske dealerships such as Ferrari and Bentley not to mention the more mundane BMW and others that I can only salivate over. One can walk directly from the museum into the Ferrari showroom. Cool.
The museum is relatively small and probably 45 minutes will take you through it but it is worth every minute. We have been here several times and still enjoy taking it in.
The price is right… the museum is free.

I read about the racing museum on Tripadvisor when I was looking for something different to do in Scottsdale. It was so cool to see the Indy 500 cars. I think any racing fan would enjoy seeing the cars up close and how they have changed over the years.

Very informative on a variety of types of cars and drivers. Many cars, engines, trophies, etc. on display throughout the museum.
