I've been here many times and I am never disappointed. Service can be a little fussy and the last time we went for a late breakfast we got a table but had to wait twenty minutes to even see a menu, however, everything on offer is first rate. From the eggs and bacon to the mushroom tart to the omelets. The restaurant itself though is probably the biggest attraction. It's in a really nice part of town and the patio area with the plants and trellis work adds to the sense of tranquility. Will return again and again ...

Food was okay. A bit pricy but I suppose you pay for the location as well. My friend and I sat in the back on a hot day and it wasn't too bad. Perfect location for a girls' get together (if i ever have one). Service was great. We had the peach bellini (delicious but not $8 bucks worth) and I tried the turkey and brie. The walnut bread was yummy! I was expecting the turkey, brie, and apple slices to be more flavorful but it wasn't. Strawberry salad was good. My bill was over $30 which is a bit too much for lunch...Oh well, at least I gave this place a try...
I wasn't too keen on having to valet the car (there was not an open parking spot around lunch time so be prepared to shell out another $5 for valet parking).
So...if you have time and money to spare, check this place out. If not, it's a good place to try once in a while...

This is a good "ladies who lunch" destination: bustling, pleasant surroundings, tasty food, generally excellent service.

Yes this place is worth the drive. The restaurant itself is unique offering a choice of indoor and outdoor dinning. If the weather allows the outdoor option is best. Our suggestion is to the rear of main indoor dinning and then to the left under sort of an alcove which allows the customer to be out of the main flow of the traffic but have a nice view of the restaurant. The food is fresh and offers a definite taste of quality. My wife and I visited for lunch on a Sunday in mid May. We ordered pita chips and hummus appetizer and a turkey and Brie sandwich entree. The hummus was fresh as were the pita chips. Both the sandwich and the salad were quite good. The dressing on the salad was light and very good. For desert we split a coconut baby cake, which was excellent. We will often skip dessert but we are certainly glad we didn't this time. Of note, the desert menu lists three pastry chefs by name which after trying the dessert we see why. While not a strong negative comment we did feel the peach tea could have had greater flavor. Of greater concern is a problem that we have encountered at other establishments, the wait staff. While our server was pleasant she disappeared for a period of time leaving our and and least two other tables unattended. When we did see her and requested a to go container it took her about 5 min to bring one to our table. Not a big deal but it had all the possibilities of becoming one. If a server is tied up on something all they have to do is advise the customer. All this aside we strongly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is so pretty and quaint. Off a small side street, it's lilke a little hidden garden. always crowded for breakfast and lunch, the courtyard is a great place for a lunch meeting or birthday celebration. Food is very good - very fresh, local ingredients. Service is kind and excellent.
