We ate here for lunch in May as we were staying next door at Gainey Suites Hotel. We eat often at Panera Bread in Minnesota and thought there must be a connection as the menu and signage are the same. The food was very good, but the ordering system is odd. You order from an employee, who fills out a form by hand, make your way down the line while other employees in front of you get any soup/salad, and then pay at the end of the line. But the cashier is also attempting to complete takeout orders and so the line moves very slowly. I went back just for a coffee and had to wait about 10 minutes in the line to get to the cashier, and finally they opened up another till. The system at Panera Bread is much quicker where you order and pay at the counter, take a pager, and then pick up your food at another counter when the pager vibrates.

Good local lunch spot. Well appointed salads and sandwiches at good prices. Excellent ice teas and you even get a goid cookie with your entre. The also have very good soups. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. Keeps the costs moderate

We stopped for breakfast one morning and they have a nice selection, we took a couple muffins with us for the road and they were delicious! Nice seating inside and outside.

When to Paradise Bakery & Café because we love Panera Bread in Chicagoland area. This location really kind of disappointed. We walked in and stood in line for a minute or so. Another customer walked in BEHIND us and one of the employees (appeared to know them), basically told us he would get to us next and proceeded to assist them; he never got to us. We finally got someone to assist us. All in all, they did not seem too efficient. Took a while to get our food and it was average at best. Do NOT get the Fire Roasted Tomato soup... just tasted like really salty tomato puree. The Walnut Chicken sandwich was not much better. If you are in a pinch, Paradise B&C is OK. If you have time to spare, try another restaurant.
