“Fun, but probably not a regular occurence.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2014

A little pricey, and wait times can be long. It's not much of a "practice" facility, much different approach than what I was expecting.

I was quite surprised and amused with the clientele that started showing up around 10pm. It turns into a full-on night club..

“Historical Awareness”

Old Town is a great place for strolling and shopping. The restaurants are everywhere and there are plenty of unique little shops to pop in to get out of the heat.

“Best shopping in one spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

We visited Old Town twice because it was so good. Please avoid the mall one block north. Old Town has probably 6-10 total blocks of incredible shopping. You can spend a fortune or you can go to several cheap imports store and pick up some great, handmade souveneirs. A lot of it looks the same from one store to the next. Be careful; it all looks authentic, but I found plenty of "native" jewelry and crafts that I know the stones were not locally mined and could tell that they were not hand crafted. Be especially picky about leather products, gemstone jewelry, and wool shawls and other garments. Just because they have a "southwest" pattern does not make them Arizona products worth forking over ten times the catalog price. There is a UPS Store very close that is handy for shipping glass or fragile items back and I recommend that strongly, as many of the gifts will not make it through TSA at the airport.

Nice shops, great eateries, fun people watching and an ambiance that invites return. Used to work close to it years ago and now enjoy it even more as an occasional visitor

Lovely little area filled with touristy shops and what-nots. Made for a nice stroll one sunny afternoon.
