Old Town gets a "refresh" with the VH.
Most properties cater to the business traveller with inexpensive chain outlets from Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, etc. The VH provides a new take for the business traveller or for anyone that does not want to pay for a huge resort and the resort fee that comes with it.
This hotel serves the single or couple traveling that does not need all the big resort amenities but would rather keep things simple.
Crowd that enjoys the VH tends to be very young, and the business traveller that wants a bigger room, cooler vibe than the chain hotels provide.
Would strongly suggest the SPA for a massage, the gym is first rate, and the bar in the lobby is very convenient, Greg and Ted tend the bar and are terrific.
Overall, very convenient size, the remodel is retro cool, and location is just on the boundary of Old Town. Certainly worth a visit.
