My husband and I only had one night here, we used it as a stop over having just had a long flight to Phoenix from the UK. We arrived late and the staff at reception were more than helpful and gave us a choice of rooms. The room was an upstairs room and exceptionally large, with full 3 piece suite in lounge area and a fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom had jacuzzi bath, double size walk in shower and twin sinks. We were amazed at the value for money and our only regret is that we spent so little time here and didn't get to use the hotels facilities. I would definitely use this hotel again if we are in the Scottsdale area again.

My wife and I stayed at the Orange Tree during our wedding which also hosted the event. The grounds are beautiful and the location is great. We had a large number of guests staying from out of town and the compliments on our venue were too numerous to count. The pool is well manicured and the golf course was also taken care of. The highlight of the stay (other than our wedding) was the rooms. Every room is a suite with a huge bathroom and whirlpool tub. The beds are all Tempurpedic and soooo comfortable. The bellmen are extremely attentive. We had a couple people that needed extra attention and the staff was very accomodating. The prices are very reasonable for the location and the luxury of the rooms. They don't have a full restaurant of their own, however they are very close to a number of great venues and the largest grocery store in AZ. They do have a snack area that has dogs and burgers. Lynn Leas was our coodinator for the wedding and did a great job! We picked a lovely venue and have no regrets. Its also a great place for a staycation since we ended up staying an extra day after the wedding. Enjoy!!

Huge shower, great Jacuzzi (not its real name), bed to die for (heck, I'd like to marry it but I'm not single), room to spread out, L-shaped comfortable sofa big enough for 4 adults to sit and talk like, well, adults. So we had to walk a ways to the room from the parking lot, so what, we could have been golfers and used to a little exercise, but we aren't. We did not come to golf and we ate Whole Foods and Trader Joe's food in the room (both stores are nearby), so there was little interaction with staff. We opted for their 'green' initiative and reused our linens for 3 days; you don't go to a golf resort to save water, but this was a thoughtful touch. (The waterfallish flow from the shower head negated some of that savings, alas.) And... at least when we were there... the price was incredibly, astoundingly low.

We were travling with family for a wedding in Sedona, Arizona. We had two suites for ourselves, our daugher and son-in-law and their three children. We stayed at the Orange Tree Resort one night upon flying into Phoenix and one night before departing. In between, we stayed at a very exclusive resort in Sedonna and at very nice accomodations at the Grand Canyon National Park. The Orange Tree stood high above the others. We found it to be exceptionally clean, spacious and well appointed. And the staff was the most friendly and eager to please that we have ever experienced. Check the prices for yourself - - you probably won't believe how low.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the beautiful golf course.

I had the pleasure of staying here and play in a golf tournament. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was exremely spacious with an extra large shower and jacuzzi tub. The Tempurpedic mattress was a nice surprise and quite comfortable. The golf course with the large trees and flowers blooming everywhere was a pleasant departure from the typical desert courses in Arizona.

Booked thru Hotwire, first time user. Mid-May trip, so its not crazy busy here now. Based on other posts, we requested a non-smoking upstairs suite with king bed and close to the main parking lot. All suites are non-smoking and we got exactly what we asked for. Staff was great - super attentive from top to bottom, outstanding communication. Parking is a bigger issue the bigger the unit number. 100 to 400 will have reasonably close parking, but 500 to 800 will be a real problem. Cart shuttles run constantly and mitigate this issue to a large degree. As others have noted, wonderful bath & makeup vanity areas. Full-size refrigerator and large microwave convection oven are among the many really nice, thoughtful touches in our unit. We never missed having a range & oven, but did miss having a barbeque area. Golf course was very good, quite challenging, excellent value IMO. This resort is an absolutely outstanding value for the money - 5 star accomodations at a 3 star price.

Room Tip: Ask for an upstairs suite close to the parking lot

I'd seen the Orange Tree Golf Resort a few years ago, but already had reservations elsewhere. We just needed one night before we could check-in at Sedona. This property and location were perfect. Randall, Bell Captain, was extremely helpful in getting our car rental squared away and Rod Lipman, Customer Service (I think), was very polite, informative and accommodating. We will definitely return to this lovely property.,
