“Great Location, Comfortable Accommodations”
Reviewed 14 March 2014

Stayed at the resort recently for a long weekend. Excellent accommodations and convenient location. The resort was quiet with very nice amenities. A bit too chilly to use the pool but we took advantage of, and enjoyed the hot tub. Was impressed with the full kitchen and the fabulous walk-in closet in the bedroom. Nicely appointed balcony as well. Just very comfortable - would definitely stay here again.

Also, very conveniently located to the freeway, restaurants, gold and shopping.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom condo in the courtyard area of the resort. It was a second floor condo. It was a great weather week 80 and sunshine Feb 22- March 1. Condo was perfect size for the 2 of us. King size bed and very comfortable bed. Kitchen had all the appliances and dishes you could ever need. A washer and dryer was a plus. The grounds were very well maintained. It was nice to see flowers blooming and GREEN grass. (We are from the midwest and had a brutal winter. There were 2 pools, one large one was a adults only serenity pool. The main pool's heater was broke so if you wanted to swim you had to go into the serenity pool. No big deal, except for a few babies crying nobody seemed to care. The fitness center was outstanding. I used to everyday and they had plenty of cardio machines, free weights and several universal weight machines. Felt sorry for activity director, not much participation on pool games or activities. I think most people were from midwest and Canada and most wanted to just relax by the pool. They also had plenty of BBQ grills on site. I have been a timeshare owner for years and I traded into this place and by far this is one of the best places that I have stayed at, the front desk people were very friendly, just watch out for the friendly desk people who want you to go to timeshare workshop.

Room Tip: ask for the courtyard

It was a first time use of our RCI timeshare so we were not sure what to expect. We booked a two bedroom unit but by the time we went to confirm, they were out of those so we got upgraded to a three bedroom at no extra charge That was a nice start. Check in was smooth and all of the staff at the front desk were pleasant. The time share selling was never an issue so we were pleased about that. Our room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. There were sufficient linens and pool towels. The A/C worked well and there were no issues with WiFi. There was a full kitchen with all of the usual appliances and cutlery. Throughout our stay all of the appliances worked and we had no issues. The grounds were well maintained and it was always nice to see staff continually working to keep up those standards. There was lots in the way of amenities - 2 pools, a fitness center, children's playground, ping-pong tables, free coffee and other things that I have missed. My only real complaint was that the heater in the main pool was out of service for the week that we were there. However, I just used the smaller tranquility pool which was fine. The first night there were some noisy drunks but after that there were no noise issues. The complex is located next to an airport but that was not an problem. Finally, although our room was clean, the furniture looked dated and so did the carpet but we did notice that renovating was taking place around the complex. All in all, a pleasant surprise and we would book there again.

Two Canadian couples; 1 from British Columbia & 1 from Cape Breton; spent the week of Sept 27th to Oct 4th, 2013 at the Scottsdale Links Resort in a top floor 2 bedroom suite. Both our unit plus the grounds & any buildings we accessed were well maintained & clean. Our 2 bdrm unit was: clean & comfortable, air conditioned, covered balcony with patio table & seating for 4, full-sized kitchen with 4 burner stove, microwave, pots & pans, coffee maker. Great blender for drinks, ice maker in freezer. In-suite full-sized washer & dryer, comfortable beds, linen & towels & good wi-fi coverage. While there are no on-site restaurants... they do have 2 gas BBQs which worked well. We cooked/BBQ'ed 3 nights. Steaks, Salmon & Ribs. The unit was cleaned mid-week and all linen & towels replaced. The front desk service was super; they also provided computer & printer access in the reception lobby. Two pools: a smaller adult pool & a larger family pool; we used the latter. The exercise room had lots of good equipment & free weights which we pretty well had to ourselves. The resort is less than 10 minutes from Walmart where we bought most of our food, cold beer, liquor & wine. We attended the Oct. 3rd season opener of the Phoenix Coyotes (4) vs New York Rangers (1). Tickets $20 a person. Parking $20, US dollars. The drive only took 40 minutes from the resort to Jobing.com arena. Scottsdale was perfect of our needs. Awesome week!

Room Tip: We requested a corner suite, top floor facing east. That way we had the morning sun and ate breakfa...

Our family stayed here the week of February 11-14th and we had the three bedroom unit. We had lots of space and the unit was comfortable and very clean. When we needed clean towels the cleaning staff were at our unit very quickly to give us what we needed. The management would even phone us later to ensure we got what we needed- super service!! We had use of a ping pong table and two pools and the exercise room all which were just great. The resort is not too far from malls, grocery stores or eating places as there is no restaurant in this resort. Great vacation.

We stayed at the Scottsdale Links Resort for a week in February 2014 in a 2 bedroom suite.

Here is what you need to know:

- very clean and comfortable
- fully air conditioned
- great balcony with patio furniture
- full kitchen
- in suite laundry
- comfortable beds
- good wifi coverage
- no on site restaurants or bars
- two pools and two hot tubs
- excellent fitness centre
- booked a massage which was outstanding and well priced. $89 for 80+ minute deep tissue massage
- weather is outstanding
- free and plentiful parking

All in all, this is a great choice if you want a quiet and comfortable suite in Scottsdale.

There are no elevators. Keep that in mind if you don't do well with stairs.

Ask for a unit that overlooks the TPC Scottsdale if you enjoy a golf view.

Very nice timeshare with 2 swimming pools, activities center and right next to the TPC Golf Tournament this year. Units are very well maintained and clean. Several activities scheduled during the week. Only problem we had was with some noisy neighbors. Great for families, friends, and couples.
