Make no mistake-this is a budget hotel. If you are expecting a 5 star for these prices you will be sadly disappointed. The 1 bedroom suite we had was reasonably clean but had seen a better day. The kitchen area had a stove, microwave and full size fridge which was convenient for keeping food/drinks were are both available from nearby stores which are within easy walking distance. There was virtually no counter space on which to prepare any food however. This lack of counter space also made it interesting while trying to do the dishes. When we asked for dish detergent, we were told that the maids would wash the dishes but we preferred not to have them sitting around so we chose to do them ourselves. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The 'complimentary' breakfast and 'happy hour' drinks, while a nice touch, are not unique in this class of hotel in the Phoenix area. If you have moderate expectations for a hotel or are travelling on a tight budget, you could do worse than this hotel.

My daughter & I stayed a week in August, while moving her into ASU. We found our suite to be very roomy, clean & comfortable. The beds were comfortable and our suite was quiet.

The free made to order breakfast was nice & filling with many items to choose from. We found the staff to be helpfull & polite.

We enjoyed the pool as much as we could, as it was hardley ever crowded. The free happy hour was a bonus as I expected well drinks, but was surprised by the variety of drinks to choose from.

The location made it easy to get anywhere(the freeway was just down the street) and the closeness of ASU was especially helpful to us.

I definately would recommend this resort and plan to stay again.

This "hotel" is basically a converted apartment complex. Calling themselves a resort is completely untrue. The pictures on the internet are completely different from what it looks like in person. The beds were TERRIBLE, and our backs were killing us every morning. Everything is dated and old. The pools were not clean, and we were afraid to swim in them. The good points - free drinks at night (in a very crowded area at poolside, which completely lacked any ambiance), and a nice breakfast in the morning, cooked to order (by some very impolite staff). I really don't think I can recommend this hotel to anyone I know. It's kind of a joke. Sorry.

This hotel is very moderately priced, very clean, easily accessible, centrally located ... in short, it was everything we hoped for and more. My wife and I spent a week at Hospitality Suites Resort in August. Using the hotel as our base, we attended a Diamondbacks game and visited the Grand Canyon, Saguarro National Park, Montezuma's Castle National Monument and Casa Grande National Monument. The hotel is a five-minute drive from the Old Town Scottsdale shopping/entertainment district. Because of the hotel's location, it's possible to travel pretty much anywhere without going through downtown Phoenix. The room rate included a hot breakfast daily at the adjacent restaurant (eggs any style/bacon/sausage/ham/hash browns, or pancakes, or french toast, or croissants, or cold cereal and fruit - your choice) and free drinks from 5 to 6:30 p.m. poolside every afternoon. Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. We found the rooms to be well-appointed. Ours had a brand-new carpet. Every room has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave and some sort of stove. Our room had a shower stall rather than a full tub, but it was a good shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and plan to return.

  • Liked — Free breakfast, free cocktail hour
  • Disliked — Shower stall instead of a full bathtub

Stayed for one night, June 29th. Checked in at 10pm, didn't want to chance missing their free shuttle so rented a car instead.

Pro's: Value of $55 was very good with a free made to order breakfast from a fixed menu. You get, coffee, juice and an entree choice.
Park fair close to the room, mine was away from the street. The street noise can get loud.
Loved the kitchenette and would have used it if a stayed longer.
Missed the happy hour at 5pm

Con's: Front desk staff were polite but young, so little in customer service and additional help.
Room smelled musty, I thought is was a smoking room, I bring a room freshener plug in which worked like a charm.
Bedding and Furniture were dated and old.
Odd design of the closet in the bathroom

I would also have to say the rooms were clean, but definitely the furnishings etc need to be updated i imagine 25 years ago it was pretty nice. The grounds are very nice and the pools small but clean. Happy hour was fun, the breakfast wasn't much. A good economy hotel, 73 canadian a night for a one bedroom.
