We at lunch at Scottsdale location. It is close to the office and we organized a party for a person who is leaving. I had avoided this location in the past because of poor service but was pleasantly surprised that it was now at the same level as the Biltmore location.
I am biased towards the Capital Grille chain since the atmosphere reminds me of Embassy Clubs from my childhood. This is a restaurant where the experience is as important as the food. There are nice touches, such as black napkins for black pants but they were polite towards a contractor who showed up wearing a t-shirt and jeans (still a white napkin).
The restaurant has a great lunch menu, the favorites on our visit were the Plate, where you get to pick your own appetizer, entree and side, the cheeseburger or the chicken Caesar salad. Most of the people were happy with the food (you can't please everyone)
Of course, it is a little expensive which is why it got four dots. They deliver value for the money although not everyone wants to pay for it. I am giving this location five dots for great food, nice atmosphere and excellent service and five dots over all.
