“Don't Bother!”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

This trail is in a heavily wooded area and because of the heavy woods the views aren't what I wanted. It's shaded and there are a lot of water crossings. Be very careful of the slippery wet rocks! The end of the trail is a big letdown....for such a long hike I was very disappointed.

“Check Status of Trailhead Due to Slide Fire”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

NOTE: Intended to complete this great hike with a group of hikers to see that the trail is still closed as of June 26, 2014. ( West Fork Oak Creek #108 Area Status: Temporarily Closed United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service). I WOULD CHECK THE INTERNET SITE TO SEE WHEN THE HIKING TRAIL RE-OPENS

“The best place to hike in Sedona”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

This is a wonderful hike. Fairly flat, not too challenging. Peaceful, quiet, beautiful scenery. Several shallow stream crossings make this hike extra fun.

“Beautiful hike!”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

We did this hike in late May, in the afternoon, after hiking Devil's Bridge in the morning. Both hikes were beautiful in their own ways and it was great to experience the contrast. The tree shaded paths and crossing the creek were wonderful experiences in the heat of the afternoon. We even stopped to take our boots off and relax with our feet in the cool water. It sickened us to hear of the fire two days later.

“Great place to hike!”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

We have hiked this outstanding trail several times. Our favorite part is hiking near and over Oak Creek. Another great part about this hike is all the shade trees. This is not a difficult trail to hike but the ground is uneven and you need to watch for roots and rocks; one of the things we like about it.
