This is one of those places that you forget how great it is until you are back. In this day and age where so many travelers never acknowledge, much less speak to one another, it is delightful to have conversations over dinner with people who have been coming back for over 30 years! We stay in Cabin No. 9 which is an easy walk to the dining room, has heat/AC and a fireplace, but no coffee maker or refrigerator like the newer named cabins. It does have a lovely view of the lawn/creek area and a side view of the mountains from its porch. The food here is fabulous (breakfast muffins are to die for) and we love the location - well out of the tourist zone, but close enough to enjoy all of Sedona's attractions. We even made a day trip to the Grand Canyon and were back for dinner! We did yoga and had a massage in the pavillion and did a bit more relaxing this year. There isn't a lot of action - limited internet, no cell service and no TVs, but lots of peace and quiet. We have booked for next year and are already looking foward to it.More
