My wife and I have been return guests to Garlands for the past 16 years. It is truely one of the most magical and relaxing places we have ever been. We have stayed in 4 of their 15 cabins, and all are enchanting in their own way.
If you love food then Chef Amanda Stine will not disappoint you. This year we had an amazing rack of lamb with pecan crust and apple, jalapeno mint jam. This was one of the best meals we have ever had there. Chef Stine is also always presenting wonderful soups and salads made fresh from their garden.
Garlands is a wonderful place to get away with your special"Someone" and reconnect. You can shop all day in Sedona, or hike the many trails in Red Rock country, or just sit by Oak Creek and enjoy the solitude. No matter what you choose to do, or not do, your time will be well spent.
You will often see Mary or Gary Garland working at the lodge along side their staff. They are truely down to earth people, and will go out of their way to make your stay truely special.

Room tip: The cabins along the creek are small ( except for cabin 4 which is ghood sized ) but they will give you a great view of Oak Creek.

Garland's is a real gem, although it may not be attractive if you are looking for action, night life or instant digital access. One goes to Garland's to leave all of these things behind for a short stay that will, no doubt, leave you wanting a few days more. Garlan's is rustic without being overly self consious. There are no phones or TV's in the cabins, and only the main lodga has (Very limited) WiFi. It is a peaceful, quiet and beautiful place to relax, recharge and think. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price, and the meals are wonderful. The staff is cheerful, obliging and careful and the service seamless. They are attentive to dietary concerns, and do not need to be told twice aboth anything. We have been going there for over 15 years, and it remains one of the highlights of our vacation schedule.

Room tip: Upper cabins (with names) are bigger and have a small refrigerator, but are a bit more expensive.

We have stayed in lots of places in Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon. None compare to Garlands. We spent 2 nights there but wish it could have been longer. The grounds are beautiful. You can wander through the orchards lounge in front of your cabin check out the chickens or take a dip in oak creek. The atmosphere is beyond fantastic. The food is plentiful homemade and delicious. Both breakfast and dinner included at least 5 courses many of the items from the huge organic garden out back. The cookbook is well worth buying as many of the items served are included in it. This was our first visit there and we have booked again already for next year.

Room tip: If you cant live without ac make sure you book one of the "newer" cabins the ones on the creek have no ac Just ask they will tell you which ones do or dont

Beauty and serenity best describe this great getaway destination. A perfect 2 night getaway shared with friends who have stayed at Garland's Oak Creek Lodge on three other occasions and absolutely loved it. Away from the mix of downtown Sedona, our cabin at Garland's was rustic with lots of wood, a wood-burning fireplace, in-room coffee, refrigerator, dining area, separate sleeping area and air conditioning (not all cabins have it evidently so if you are going in the summer, request a cabin with a/c for overall comfort).

Garland's Lodge offers an American Plan so in addition to comfortable accommodations and beautiful surroundings, you are treated to a full breakfast served each morning in the Lodge which may on any day include muffins and cider made from the on-site peach and apple orchards and a wonderful selection of main breakfast entrees.

Hot & cold teas with savories are served in the afternoon as well as pre-dinner cocktails out on the lawn or in the Lodge. Four course dinners are gourmet in every way from the soup starter to the homemade desserts. Dinner entrees are chosen by the kitchen and we enjoyed both the melt in your mouth rack of lamb and grilled king salmon during our stay.

Service is top notch and accommodating in every way. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Among the best places I have ever been and I have traveled extensively. It is in a totally unique setting with wonderful log cabins. orchards, sounds of birds and large areas of grass right on the Oak Creek North of Sedona, Az. It is usually usually at least 10 degrees cooler than Sedona and at least 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix. which is welcome in the hot Arizona summers. the staff are superb, the food very gourmet and ample quantities. If you have a dislike of a certain food or allergies they readily accommodate you. Meal times are at a slow pace like you have on a cruise ship. It is a place of tranquilly that seldom exists anymore. It is a great place in all the seasons of the year (closed mid November to April). I try to travel there several times yearly and try the different cabins because they are all unique. It is truly a five star lodge.

Room tip: Make your reservations well in advance and if you haven’t watch the web page for openings.
