This place was beautiful. We stayed next to the creek and nature at its best. The cabins are very spacious. I love the outdoor shower. Room service was yummy. The restaurant didn't offer much, small portions, but overall it was good. Nice selection of wine. Check-in was welcoming and quick. The views were outstanding. Sedona is a beautiful place and L'Auberge does an outstanding job making your vacation special. Not a huge fan of the parking.

Beautiful surroundings along Sedona's Oak Creek. Comfortable cabins with plenty of room and all the amenities. Delicious and exquisite food but a little pricey. Abundant coffee/tea/hot chocolate and pastries in the morning. The sun shines like diamonds on the rushing creek while ducks meander down the path or along the stream and you can hop the rocks. They have a Spa, although we did not partake. Also an outdoor pool. Treated exquisitly with complimentary valet parking and we utilized it several times a day coming and going to area attractions and activities ~ and they are quick to respond getting your car. Gracious service. It really feels like a luxury vacation. We love it and usually splurge to come every other year.

Room Tip: Search for deals online at Hotels.com or Lauberge.com We paid for 2 nights and got the 3rd free.

On the whole we were very satisfied with our 2 night stay. We had booked a standard lodge room online but asked re upgrade options when we arrived. We were shown a creek side cabin which was ok and right by the water but I spotted some cabins which were on a higher level and asked Derek (Guest Services and very helpful) about them. It was one of these we settled for and we were so glad we did. They were way above the standard of both the lodge and creek side rooms we were shown. Modern, very clean and comfortable, fireplace, outdoor shower and with fabulous views. The room you end up with is somewhat of a lottery - ask questions! Golf cart provided for transportation around the hotel grounds. Prompt and helpful staff. Shame the fire pits by the creek were not lit when we went for pre dinner cocktails (which were very good, thank you Ashley). The restaurant was fabulous. Best lobster bisque we have had anywhere in Europe, or the world for that matter. Certainly one of the best meals we have had either in LA or during our travels on the West Coast. Together with the 25 dollar per day policy and no further tipping (except restaurant & spa), valet parking and wifi included this hotel
is well worth the money.

A friend and I met here for a girls getaway weekend to celebrate our birthdays and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. We stayed in a lovely lodge room with a balcony that had a beautiful view. The grounds are gorgeous, even in February. It really feels like a little oasis. We started each day with their complimentary yoga class, enjoyed the spa (the massage therapists were incredible), spent the afternoon doing local hikes (the hotel staff was excellent in recommending local activities) and spent one evening dining at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent, though very rich. The service by all of the staff throughout our stay was wonderful. They were so accommodating and went out of their way to make it a special, celebratory weekend. I've never met a nicer valet staff in my life! It was so relaxing & enjoyable. We can hardly wait to get back for another visit.

Room Tip: The lodge rooms were lovely. If you request one on the second floor you can get a balcony with an e...

We stayed at L'auberge for 3 nights during a short getaway to Sedona. I had it narrowed down to either L'auberge or the Enchantment resort. I'm so glad we chose L'auberge since the location was right in town.

The service was impeccable. I liked that it was a "no tip" resort and everyone sticks by that. My husband tried to tip the valet and they said they were not allowed to accept it. The service all around was just outstanding.

We stayed in a Spa Cottage. The room was beautiful, large, had great linens, a fireplace and a gorgeous spacious bathroom with our own deck and outside shower. I loved that we weren't connected to any other rooms and couldn't hear any noise from outside once we were in our room as well.

every morning we went to the lobby to grab coffee and go down to the creek to feed the ducks. They do advertise a breakfast of muffins and scones...they were minature and I wouldn't rely on that for your breakfast. At night there were heaters on the deck, the fireplaces along the creek were all going since it was a little chilly. We also used the hot tub and heated pool after hiking all day.

Overall, I'd go back in a heartbeat. It was a very peaceful, relaxing trip. The only downfalls were the breakfast and the price of drinks at the hotel bar were a little outrageous too..but somewhat expected..

We stayed at the sister property of L'Auberge and wandered down to L'Auberge de Sedona one afternoon and we were smitten with the setting. The windows overlook a babbling creek where comfie lounge furniture and firepits sit next to the creek. We wanted to come back for cocktails and appetizers the next evening and asked the restaurant hostess if this was possible. She said absolutely. The next afternoon between 4:30pm and 5pm, we arrived (the valet, by the way was always consistently polished, gracious and makes a great first impression upon arrival). We walked in. The hostess (different from the one the night before) said that they "never" lit the firepits at all in the evening and there was no cocktail service down there and referred us to the bar. The place/lounge/front desk area and bar were all almost empty, by the way. We were baffled why we couldn't sit down there but worse - why they wouldn't light the fire pits. So the bartender on duty (male) said that there was no cocktail service but we could take our own drinks down to the creek if we wanted. I then asked if we could order an appetizer and take it down ourselves. He said no. Please understand that there was no one else in the bar (maybe 3 guests tops) and while I understand him not being able to leave his post, I asked him if we just ordered the cheese and cracker appetizer (something that didn't have to be cooked) and we just waited for it at the bar , could we bring it down ourselves to the firepit area. He said no. We had to eat it there in the bar. It just felt really unaccommodating and our request was so simple. So, we took our cocktails and went down to the firepit/creek area without appetizers and it was gorgeous. The Maintenance Manager was the highlight of our visit there. He was super friendly, looked like he loved his job and guess what? He was lighting all the firepits (I have no idea why the hostess that night said they "never" do) and even went out of his way to light a heatlamp over us. He fed the ducks on the creek and was really the most gracious and welcoming and engaging of any of the staff there. I would have given this property an "Excellent" and perfect, but the service staff that night was really not on top of their game and not helpful, didn't seem to know anything or encourage hospitality (except for the valet and maintenance manager) And again, they were not busy. The bartender told us he had over an hour commute each way from a neighboring city, - maybe he didn't like his job, but I really feel our request was so reasonable - triply so with no one else there and we would have been waiting on ourselves. But the setting there? Unbelievable and you just can't beat it.

What makes L'Auberge de Sedona so cool is that it's actually within walking distance of one of Sedona's shopping areas, yet it's found in a little wooded nook along Oak Creek that makes you feel like you are far away from civilization. And the creek area is gorgeous even in the winter. Item #1 for this place is service. A young, energetic staff offer a level of service that's unbeatable.

My ratings ding the resort on value since I define value as a lot for the buck. At L'Auberge, you get a lot, but you pay a lot. Both the spa and restaurant are quite wonderful in their own way but are, in our opinion, overpriced. Hey, I'm not yelling insults from the sidelines. We saw the spa prices on their website before we booked and still decided to indulge each day of our stay. We do recommed taking a pass on the Lavendar Dreams treatment. It's a whole lotta moolah, a whole lotta loofa, and there are more enjoyable options.

In fairness to the restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed the upscale dining experience in a casual atmosphere. The dining room is very nice, but you don't have to pack any fancy clothes! This is a place that is very proud of its wine selection. There is no "house wine", per se, so just ordering a glass of, say, cabernet is going to bring you a very nice wine. Recommendations on wine pairings were always just delicious, however, virtually all of their wines are north of $100/bottle. That aside, I'm still always going to have trouble assigning a great value rating to dinner for two that's (excluding alcohol) over $150. But it's great food! And in fact, we are already planning a return trip!

Room Tip: Cabins ahem, cottages - in the 80's and 90's numbers have wonderful views of the red rock ca...
