We spent 3 pleasant nights at this beautiful hotel. We had reserved a vista suite, which proved to be a cabin on the hillside with incredible views of the red rock mountains to the east of the hotel. The hotel charges a resort fee but it includes most tipping. It was nice not to need a pocket full of small bills for tipping. The service was excellent and the food was good. I cannot recommend this excellent boutique hotel enough!

Room Tip: The creekside cabins are beautiful if you want to be near the creek. We loved the views from our vis...

L'Auberge de Sedona is located just off a main highway, but in a quiet nook with great views of the red rocks and then dinner views and sounds of water running creekside. The standalone cottage suites have a sitting room and a separate bedroom both with terraces overlooking the red rocks. The bathroom is huge with twin sinks, a large shower, a jacuzzi tub, and a great outdoor shower. The service is first rate. The concierge planned great trips for us with experienced guides, including a day trip to the Grand Canyon. The views from the cottage terraces of the evening sun on the red rocks are awesome. The restaurant's food, sercie, wine list and ambience are outstanding.

Room Tip: Reserve a Vista Cottage Suite

The only negative thing about our stay at the L'Auberge was that it wasn't long enough! This is a beautiful, small, friendly spa hotel surrounded by stunning mountains. The attention to service is amazing and it's the tiny touches, like putting bottles of water in your car when you leave that make it stand out, especially on a long road trip. We had a lodge room which was large, clean, comfortable and relaxing with a lovely view. We ate dinner by the river and the food (and service) were excellent. You feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere yet a short walk finds you in the town with all it's rock and crystal shops. The whole town has a lovely warm feel about it. I would thoroughly recommend the L'Auberge whether you are on a road trip like ourselves and need to calm the pace or whether you are looking for a spa break to recharge the batteries.

Sedona is a beautiful place to visit. And L'Auberge is a wonderful place to stay. The creekside location is ideal. The staff go the extra mile in making sure that everything is perfect. From Travis the valet, to Perry at the front desk, to Russell the bartender, everyone made sure our stay was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sedona. What a great experience!

As beautiful as the pictures -- spectacular vistas of red rock, lush foliage, beautiful flowers, charming and relaxing creek -- so beautiful, peaceful, relaxing. Cottage was comfortable and clean. Staff exceedingly friendly, caring, and attentive. Food was delicious. I'm picky about hotels; I will leave and find another hotel, even give up a deposit if the hotel is dirty or unpleasant in any way. But L'Auberge was so awesome, I didn't want to leave even at the end of the vacation. Looking forward to going back. I hope they always maintain their standards.

Room Tip: The pictures on the website are accurate. My sons and I stayed in the Vista Cottage -- the view was...

This was my first trip to Sedona and what a wonderful way to spend a few days. Our room was amazing, complete with an outdoor shower. Our cottage was on the beautiful creek that runs through the resort, complete with quacking ducks in the morning. We only had a chance to dine at the restaurant one evening and food was outstanding along with the outdoor ambience. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating. I would recommend this resort for a pampering stay in Sedona.

Journeying from Lake Powell to Grand Canyon to Sedona was a marvelous snap shot of the wonders of our Western country. Spent two nights at lower L'Auberge and dined creekside on my birthday. JUST A GREAT SETTING with attentive and friendly staff. Even offers special 'talks' on the geology and stars of Sedona. By all means a choice that won't disappoint!!!!

Room Tip: Stayed in the lodge rather than a separate suite and was most satisfied...
