“Top-Notch Hotel, Property, Restaurant & Nauture-like Setting”

This is a world-class property and it shows. The grounds are kept up to top standards. The staff is all incredibly friendly and helpful. Even more pleasant is that no tips are accepted - it is apparent that 'management' does treat their staff as a core ingredient in their operational success.

The restaurant and its creek-side setting are spectacular. Hands-down, unique. Dining by the creek is great. However, we preferred the more casual 'bar area' slightly above the creek-side formal dining tables for our evening lounging. What a relaxing location. Highly recommended.

If you like your wines, the wine list at the restaurant is top-tier and has received accolades for its diversity. Some great labels and elusive finds. All are priced accordingly...

So, other reviewers have talked about the rooms and the property. No need to restated all the comments.

For us, it was a wonderful experience. Top quality and top service in all aspects. Our compliments to the both the management team, and all the staff that made it so.

We stayed 5 nights at this property. The service was absolutely excellent. First, the property is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a spa cottage which had a very comfortable bed and a great spa bathroom with a jet tub, an indoor and outdoor shower. The restaurant is right on the creek. We dined one night there and was served by Becca. She made the evening special for us. Wade, who checked us in, answered all my questions throughout the week about events in property and things to do in town.

We had the most wonderful experience! The friendliness and attention given by the staff are awesome. I need to thank Hunter and Orrion, they seemed to always be working when we came around and the ran thier butts of for us. Orrion even recommend some resturants that were great suggestions. My husband owns a business and is going back to tell his people what an example your staff is on customer service. I always heard a "my pleasure" when ever we asked for ANYTHING. Water was always suggested and given. We loved the free waters (-: The customer service given y the entire staff always made us feel so important and special.
We had the Sunday Brunch which was fabulous! The food at the restuant is exceptional~ we loved the flavored water put out every day as well as the light breakfast. The hot choclolate was creamy and delicious!!
The concierge was great in helping organize some outing and things for our party and took care of all the arrangments.
Anytime we had an issue it was dealt with quickly. On arrival we were suppose to have champagne and choc covered strawberries and when our host realized we didn't have them he called the front desk and it was fixed immediatly. Also They were running behind at the spa when we got our massages and also gave us a small discount (without us even asking) for our wait. That is great customer service. Things do not always go right, but when you can, you fix it right away and make it right and that is exactly what you all do!
The grounds are so beautiful and the ground staff so nice and friendly. We loved the creek and the ducks. Our room (SPA ROOM) was wonderful - I highly suggest the outdoor shower. I was hesitant at first but wow- what a great experience!
We had such a great experience that I asked my husband if we can come back on our 10th anniversary (in 3 yrs) and re new our vows~ he said of course!!! See you then!!!

Room Tip: they are all good, the SPA rooms with the outdoor shower rock!

Enjoyed our two night stay here with our teenage kids. Absolutely beautiful property near the creek; well manicured public areas and lovely creek side dining. Some amenities in our cottage were quite dated and our towel rack came off. Service was mediocre for what this resort bills itself as. Overall a positive experience, but a little underwhelmed given the prices - probably better for couples rejuvenating/romantic getaway.

My husband and I make a yearly pilgrimage to Sedona for our anniversary. This year's trip was, by far, our best yet. Thank you to Glen and the amazing staff at L'Auberge for a relaxing, peaceful and romantic weekend. We will see you next year!

We had a wonderful stay. Wanted the creekside rooms ended up with roo 88 on the hill. Wow! Had morning sunrise and evening sunsets on the red rocks! So glad we weren't on the creekd and missed all of this. Had our own porch to sit, sunbath, and have drinks in the evening. It was true bliss! They pick you up in golf carts if you don't want to walk to you room. All rooms are detached! Two showers - one inside, one outside! The staff are so friendly and helpful. In the lobby early is coffee, tea and scones. Of course, meals are down on the river - heater lamps at each table - it is awesome. It is expensive - all tips included in price - so if you don't tip for certain people this might not be your cup of tea. With that said it is nice to just say thank you! and be done!! Is busy on weekends as they do have weddings and not as quiet.

Room Tip: Get a room to look at the red rocks! You will want to go for the river - don't. You won't...

If you and the Mrs. are staying in Sedona, your wallet is going on a liquid-diet anyways. You may as well come away feeling like you got value. You probably will staying at L'Auberge.

The STAFF is world class. Everyone on the property is exceedingly polite, attentive, and helpful. A slight reservation issue was resolved in our favor with no hassle even though L'Auberge was not at fault. By resolved in our favor, I mean, they significantly upgraded our room without our even asking or expecting. The experience from then on was fantastic.

Our feelings regarding the staff notwithstanding, the PROPERTY is a sight to behold and a one of a kind in Sedona; a literal oasis. Room was spacious and the bed was very large and comfortable. The VIEW from our upgraded room (No. 84) is exactly what we came to Sedona to see out your window/balcony (see pic).

The massage was on par with Qua at Caesar's while the spa itself was rather simple, yet, adequate. The brunch FOOD competes with the Ritz-Carlton. The filet on the menu is top three all-time. In fact, I was so moved by the filet that, unsolicited by him, I recommended it to the guy sitting next to me. I happened to run into him two days later and he genuinely thanked me.

Location is convenient to shopping and restaurants yet does not sacrifice privacy. Exceptionally quite. No through traffic (ex. Deliveries and guests' vehicles only). Short drive to hiking trails and THE HIKE HOUSE.

Kids are not out of place by any means but there is not too much to do on-property other than the swimming pools. We did not use the pool but the water felt nice when I touched it. We were told it's saltwater.

*Additional examples of hospitality: 1) I routinely ordered room service breakfast at 6am. It was not until our last morning that I realized their service hours started at 7am. The guy who took my order never mentioned a word. 2)The young woman who checked us out shipped an enormous cowboy hat FedEx for me (I paid postage, of course).

CONS: Very pricey. Not all rooms appear to have a scenic view, though, these did have a private elegance about them and would certainly be much cooler (temp. -wise) in the summer. Expensive. I cut my hand opening a beer. At some point during your stay you are going to walk up a hill.

BOTTOM LINE: Expensive BUT worth it!

Room Tip: Rooms in the 80's seem to enjoy a significant view advantage.
