My husband and I had the most wonderful stay here. The staff pays attention to each and every detail and will go out of their way to make your stay one of a kind! The cottages are very peaceful and quite. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and a cheese and fruit plate. The grounds are immaculate and anything you need they either have or will go out of their way to get for you. We enjoyed drinks from the bar on the patio during the afternoon and the creek side dinner is a must. The chef is incredible and although the dinner is costly, it was worth the quality and quantity. The hotel and staff helped to make the rest of the stay memorable with suggestions and recommendations. The outdoor shower was wonderful. The smell of the wood while taking a refreshing shower was wonderful in the cool mornings and the whirlpool at night was so relaxing. We would go back in a second and highly recommend staying here. You feel like you have woken up in a portrait each morning and its worth it to have the memories they help create

Spent honeymoon here in 1989 and just revisted for 25th anniversary. Beautiful setting that has changed a bit in the past 25 years. Original stay was in the lodge, this time we stayed in the hill side cotttages which offered spectacular views, comfortable bed/room and in addition to a whirlpool and shower, a separate outside shower which I found to be special. The restaurant with tables positioned on the edge of Oak Creek was great. Great food and service and an unsurpassed setting. The town of Sedona is a little too touristy for my taste, however there is plenty to do in and around Sedona. I'll be back and it won't be another 25 years before it happens.

This hotel has top-notch service. Everyone was wonderful, especially the valets. If you need to run to the store or be dropped off nearby, they will take you and pick you up.
There is creek side dining, or you relax and enjoy tapas and cocktails while watching the water gently roll by. The only downside is that the restaurant isn't open all day.
I had a massage at the spa. The masseur was excellent. The spa could use updating and a more luxurious atmosphere. The cottages along the creek sort of look like a fancy place where celebrities might go for rehab. Just a bit cookie-cutter. We stayed in the lodge which was beautiful. Lovely patches if gardens throughout. The reasons I am not giving it gives five stars is because the restaurant closed during the day and the hotel pricey. If you want to treat yourself, this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: All rooms at the lodge have balconies albeit small.

Can't say enough about the wonderful staff! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, and our concierge, John, is a real gem. Our every request was granted cheerfully and quickly. The creekside cottage with fireplace, outdoor shower, and front porch was spacious, charming, luxurious, comfortable and so peaceful. The grounds were immaculate. While this was our first stay, we have dined here on several occasions, and we always come away raving about the food. We visit here often, and L'Auberge without question provides the best hotel guest experience in Sedona.

Recently attended my brother-in-law's destination wedding and our family members stayed at both the Orchard Inn and L'Auberge de Sedona. The valet staff, front desk staff were cheerful and prompt, but the refreshing creekside dining in the midst of this gorgeous painted desert was the highlight of the trip including the delicious creekside reception dinner. Facilities are showing some wear & tear but cleanliness was outstanding. Creekside benches and duck feeding added to the ambiance. And nothing could beat the beautiful views along the convenient stairway/path between the two hotels.

This resort is like a lush oasis in the desert! Individual cottages are surrounded by mesquite and apple trees, beautiful flowers and bushes. Our cottage had a fireplace, queen size bed, sleeper sofa, and luxurious bathroom! We were right at the path to the creek which has a beautiful little beach with lounge chairs and swings. Each morning the staff has a duck feeding there at 8:00 am. It is so quiet and peaceful and beautiful...a perfect location for a romantic getaway. They have valet parking and the guys are really fast about getting your car...the downside, the $15 per day charge for that service. Breakfast on the deck next to the creek is a MUST! It was so relaxing to eat next to the water...such beautiful scenery. It was a little too pricey for us, but still a beautiful place to stay!

Apart from all the other amazing things that could be said about this place, they serve the best hamburger in the world!!!!!!! My wife and I ate here for lunch and were blown away by the view, the service and the food. I would highly recommend eating here whether or not you are staying at the hotel.
