“Loved our stay at Sedona Views Bed and Breakfast”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

From the moment we walked in we knew we were staying at the right place. It couldn't have been better! Irith welcomed us, filled us in on details, and gave suggestions about eating and seeing the area. Ann's breakfasts were amazing. Our stay was so comfortable and relaxing. We felt pampered. No disappointments here. We hope that we will have the opportunity to stay here again.

Sam and Irith own both of these wonderful places in Sedona. Their attention to detail is second to none! Both places are decorated beautifully in the Southwestern tradition. The breakfasts are delicious and bountiful and hosted by either Sam or Irith. They make you feel very comfortable in every way you can imagine.
Their willingness to make our stay in Sedona enjoyable and full of fun things to do is completely appreciated. They have owned and operated Boots & Saddles for more than 10 years so they know everything you'd like to know to have a really awesome time in Sedona and the surrounding area. Whether you want to hike, visit local ruins or the Grand Canyon, peruse art galleries, shop, eat, what ever..they will give you suggestions and/or the information you need. They will even make dinner reservations for you!
If you plan to visit Sedona..DO NOT MISS staying at Sedona Views (near uptown) or Boots & Saddles (in West Sedona)--you will not regret it!

For our 10 year anniversary I wanted to surprise my wife and bring her to the B&B where I proposed. I can say the experience did not disappoint. Breathtaking views from our own private balcony, a well deserved soak in the hot tubs and a nice experience overall. The only thing thing I wish I had done differently was to stay an extra 2 days.

Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary an amazing experience!

The B&B is at secluded location just outside town. The accommodation is comfortable with some nice touches though not luxurious. There are lovely views of the canyon walls and across Sedona with Cathedral Rock in the distance. A few things potential guests should be aware of however:

While the views are generally impressive, some viewpoints are marred by nearby buildings, poles and cables, for example from the main deck area in front of the breakfast room.

During the day there is fairly continuous background noise from cars on the road that runs below the house as they start to climb up the canyon. This diminishes in the evening and overnight but does not completely stop. There is also a constantly running artificial stream located near some of the rooms that some people may not like. While the windows and doors do a fairly effective job shutting out noise, this may not be the place for people seeking absolute peace.

The breakfast service starts at 8:30am sharp and consists of cooked, rather rich fare. Copious, artfully presented sweet and savory dishes are alternated between on successive days. No possibility is offered of having breakfast at any other time or having a simpler uncooked breakfast such as cereal.

For breakfast, the hosts default is to seat all the guests around a communal table. This may not work well for people who prefer a quiet, slow start to their mornings. Also, Sam likes to address the table during the breakfast period, often at length for ten or more minutes.

If asked, the hosts will however seat you separately at a smaller table or, after the other guests have been served, provide your breakfast on a tray that you can take back to your room. In addition, you can request a breakfast-to-go if you are leaving early. This takes the form more of a picnic lunch.

We felt the hosts were a little too keen to make sure that we fully appreciated the place and the service they provided. This included encouraging us to give them a TripAdvisor 5 star rating “if they had deserved it”, versus only 4 stars. This detracted from our experience. We would have preferred that the place and quality of the service spoke for themselves and that we formed our own conclusions.

This was our third and longest stay at Sedona Views. Like our past two experiences, this stay was fantastic! The owners, Sam and Irith, and the innkeeper, Ann, are wonderful hosts. Ann is an excellent addition to the staff. She is very personable, helpful and a hard worker. Either Sam or Irith meet with the guests after breakfast to provide information on what to do, where to go and where to eat. Even though my wife, Chris, and I have been to Sedona before, we still took advantage of the opportunity to discuss new things to do with Sam. Thanks to his suggestions, we saw the cliff dwellings at Walnut Canyon (we highly recommend that excursion), Montezuma's Well, a pond eternally filled with water despite the lack of rain in the region, and the restored cliff dwellings at Montezuma's castle. Sam arranged for us to take a day long excursion to the Hopi Indian reservation guided and narrated by Brian, a very intelligent and informative Navaho Indian. He also made arrangements for us to take a vortex tour. Both excursions were unique and extremely interesting. The Hopi trip did necessitate that we missed the gourmet breakfast that day. That's an experience that I do not want to miss!! In addition to the excellent food, I truly enjoy meeting and talking with the other guests at the B&B during breakfast. I love the B&B's alternating savory and sweet breakfasts.

We stayed in two rooms during our seven day stay -- the Morning Glory Room for two days and the Sunrise Sunset room for the remainder of the stay. We had stayed in the Morning Glory room before. Both rooms have beautiful views of the valley and the red rock formations. Sunrise Sunset is the larger room with a nice sitting/reading area. Both rooms are nicely decorated and clean. I still prefer the Morning Glory room because of the better view of the starry skies from the hot tub. Chris prefers the Sunrise Sunset room because of the larger room and deck.

We highly recommend a stay at Sedona Views! The owners treat you like family and good friends. You feel so comfortable and at home there as soon as you step in the B&B. We are already looking forward to our return there for our fourth stay!

I had to talk my husband into staying here, as he is a bit leary of bed and breakfasts--he likes his privacy and is a bit of a foodie. But we loved it--both of us! We stayed in the Serenade Room, which although it is not quite as remote as the website indicated, is a bit set off from the main building. It's private balcony is awesome. We spent our evenings there watching the sunsets, though the sun rises were awesome, too. It was a little noisy at night, but no more than a hotel. Breakfasts were wonderful. Ann was our host during our time and was friendly and informative. We;ll definitely be back.

Room Tip: We were in the Serenade Room and had complete privacy on our deck. The view was beautiful, and the h...

This was my 2nd time at Sedona Views and it was a was as relaxing as I had hoped. Beautiful views, convenient location, amazing breakfast and gracious owners. I enjoy taking hikes right outside the inn or just reading on one of the many decks. I highly recommend a stay at Sedona Views and am already looking forward to next year!
