“Medical assistance”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2014

On my trip I needed access to a doctor. The pharmacist at Weber''s IGA recommended Dr. Tolleson. He saw me on his day off and provided me with excellent medical care. If you travel to Sedona and find yourself in need of medical assistance I highly recommend Rd. Tolleson.

This resort was located with an outstanding view of the mountains. Though it was cold in the early mornings, the weather warmed in the day. The service was good and the resort had daily activities planned. I was surprised that they did not offer free wi-fi but you could purchase it for a fee.
Downtown was only a few minutes away and it was very picturesque to see the mountains as a backdrop. The concierge staff were very efficient and helped us to plan excursions and give recommendations on things to do.

Stayed here with my husband and his family for 5 nights. At first the room seemed spacious until we had to use the pull out couch because the bed was too small for the both of us. My husband and I even debated if the bed was a double versus a queen size. Hot tub and pool was close to our building which was nice! We are not huge on golfing so we did not check that out.

The condo was not directly in Sedona which didn't seem to bother us during the day since the views were spectacular. But if you don't get a studio with the full kitchen, you'll be driving at least 5-10mins to get food.

We booked a studio unit through our timeshare organisation and pretty much knew what to expect and the Ridge on Sedona fulfilled our expectations. The resort units are very clean, well equipped and modern - without being exceptional. The staff were efficient, very pleasant and very happy to make recommendations about activities in the area. Families would enjoy the pools, the outdoor cooking facilities and activities program. Our studio didn't have a particularly exciting outlook and a return visit would be planned to ensure that pleasant moments on the balcony were accompanied by the spectacular Sedona views.

Over all the place was nice . With the exception of the front desk staff.upon arriving the concierge offered to take care of are resort fees. But the front desk they where paid already so we declined the offer .As I checked out from the rooms phone the girl at the front desk said we had a balance in our account from the resort fees.I tried to talk to her but she was very rude u said I will be up there in a few min do not charge my card you have on file.when I entered the lobby she was rude write off never giving me a chance to explain what happened ever time I tried she talked over me and made rude faces like a child .This was embarrassing and disrespectful, To where others noticed. After three attemps of trying to explain we where starting to get angry when she finally listenedto us.And told us this is how its always been that resort fees are charged at check out. I then asked so when did this policy take effect she replied Jan 14 .So I said its not how its always been but is a new policy .Our check in was Feb 6.she said give her a min to REVERSE the charge .After I had asked her do not use the card in file. This visit was fine other than the staff at no time did any sraff intervene or go get a manager at this point I was done and could care less. This is just so others will know how the front dest works . I know a manager will reply now saying there sorry and give them another try soon. But that is still ridiculous that a resort has staff like this.

We are sorry to hear of your negative experience with our front desk team member. Rest assured the team member’s dissatisfactory services have been forwarded to the front desk managers for review and to prevent any of our future guests from having the same issue. We regret that this inconvenience occurred, but are glad to hear that our Regional Manager contacted you personally to apologize for your experience. Furthermore, we are happy you did enjoy our property. We are confident if you choose to stay with us again, you will have a much more pleasant stay.

We had a 2 bedroom ( a combined 1 bedroom and studio) which had 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. Good view of the golf course and mountains. Kitchen was very well stocked. Laundry was a plus. Staff were very helpful and were a big help when a watch was left at the pool (thanks to the man from Minnesota for turning it in). Pool and hot tub were great, but a bit of a walk if you are in the street with building 20-21. Overall a great location for touring the Sedona area and Grand Canyon.
One downside... it's hard to believe they would charge $6 per day for wi-fi. Reminds you of 10 years ago.

I enjoyed this property. Very scenic and nice pool area. Enjoyed the native American art sale on property while there. Nicely stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the view from the patio. Did not golf but it looked like a great course.

Room Tip: Enjoyed looking towards the mountains.
