We had a delightful stay at The Orchards. A corner suite gave us a beautiful view of the mountains. We spent the evening enjoying our personal fireplace, the view and a local wine. Very nice. It was a little difficult to find since it is located behind the cantina.

The fabulous view is the very best part of this property. It is a little run down at the heels and could use a makeover but still the room was spacious, clean and had a great balcony. The young man who was our desk clerk was very informative and helpful.
it is located in the older part of Sedona but still had enough dining and shopping to suit our needs. Sedona is a great place to visit and if you have to get in the car to drive to find something particular it is not very far.

We enjoyed our stay at the Orchards Inn. The rooms are huge, the staff friendly and professional, and the room rate was good--as long as you book well in advance. We had no complaints, but if we did, I'm sure they would have been addressed promptly.

Room Tip: I guess you could try for a room on the upper floor to get a better view, but the view is okay on th...

The good- terrific view!!!!! Employees were helpful with hike suggestions. The staff was the best thing about this hotel!
The bad- everything about the room was bad! Towel rack falling off the wall. Walls really need some paint. Wall base boards missing. The layout of the suite was so odd. There is only one bathroom but three sinks within 3 steps of each other. Old dingy towels. Patio door lock kept malfunctioning. Trash on property near balcony. Not enough parking on property so you have to wait until after 8pm so you can use neighboring business parking spots! The "healthy breakfast" was a packet of instant oatmeal along with grocery store muffins. This is at the front desk were there is literally room for 2 people to sit! I relied on reviews when booking this and I feel misled! So disappointed on our first trip to Sedona!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights. We chose this hotel because it seemed to be in town where we could walk to restaurants at night. (We don't mind driving to sights during the day- but prefer to be able to walk at night after a nice meal and bottle of wine!). While it is in town, most of the good restaurants have located farther out- so our walks were sometimes lengthy!
The view of the red rocks from our balcony was terrific- but we were on the 3rd floor and I actually think the views would be better from the second floor, the low trees would then block some of the buildings below the hotel.
Our room was a typical type motel room- although we had the king suite- but it was plenty large, had 2 sink areas for the bathroom (I love that!) and a nice little gas fireplace, that did a great job taking the chill off the room in the early morning.
Breakfast was less than basic, some sad pastries and packaged oatmeal (our last morning they even ran out of sweetener, cup covers and the oatmeal!)- but the coffee was good and free bottled water available all day.

This hotel is nice, quiet and clean. The staff is excellent and can felp you with about anything. The reason i gave it four stars is that you pay extra to be on top floor for the view but there is no elevator. With luggage and toting lots of things in and out it gets a bit much. The view was lovely. Hotel restaurant OK as well as the steak place across the street.

Room Tip: Do the second floor view just as nice with no steps!

Spent one night here while visiting Sedona.

The staff were great (guys in reception just couldn't do enough to help us). Rooms weren't anything special (typical layout to any major chain), but they were very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Pool area at the back was great, with amazing views of the mountains.

The location was fantastic. Just 50 yards or so off the main road through Sedona. Their driveway is basically shared with Taos Cantina - a great little mexican place (see review). Everything you need is just a short walk from the hotel, including restaurants, shops, and the Pink Jeep tours (see review).

Would certainly recommend it.
