Owner description: Kachina House in Sedona is the largest distributor of Native American art and artifacts in Arizona. Our 5,000 square foot showroom/warehouse in West Sedona, nestled among the famous red rocks, offers pottery including Horsehair, Acoma, Hopi, Navajo, Santa Clara, and Zuni; artifacts; jewelry; Hopi Traditional "Old Style" Katsinas and Hopi Full-Figure Contemporary Katsinas; Navajo Kachinas; Hopi Baskets; sand paintings; original art; prints; and much more. Our authentic native products made in the Southwest are signed and/or come with Certificates of Authenticity. We have also expanded and now carry gourd art by Robert Rivera as well as Mata Ortiz handbuilt pottery from Mexico. We are your source for arts and crafts from the greater southwest.

This is the BEST place in Sedona to shop for Native American artwork. The women are very knowledgable and will give you an informative tour of all the different tribes and their artwork. The prices are fair. We had our purchases shipped home and they arrived well packed, all in one piece for a very reasonable price. I will be ordering more items from them online until we can visit Sedona again. A must see when visiting.

Toby and two other women own this store. It is off the main road, but worth finding. The women who run this explain about the 6 rooms and what they contain. They explain the background and information about the tribes. Reasonable prices and they will ship. We had seen horse hair pottery in the past but weren't sure about how to get it home. They will ship it and it got to our house two days after we got home.

Looking for Indian Art and Jewelry can be tricky. These ladies know their stuff and the quality of the items is outstanding. We went back three times in two weeks....purchasing and enjoying these women that run this shop. It is like a museum....stop in and enjoy the "tour." This establishment is highly trustworthy and is one of the most delightful stops you will make in Sedona!

I would call this the hidden gem of Secona, but it's already #1 on Tripadvisor. This place truly is the must visit spot in town, and not just for shopping. Kachina House is a museum of Native American artwork and history. The staff is so well educated and you will leave with a new understanding of Native American culture. Also, the prices cannot be beat. The most precious items are expensive, but you can find beautiful pots and other items at very affordable prices. While enjoying the outdoor sights and sounds in Sedona, step inside Kachina House and see the art and history as well.

My husband and I had read the excellent reviews for Kachina House and were not disappointed by what we saw, learned and purchased. We went in hoping to pick up a small souvenir of our vacation in Sedona and went away with a piece of Native American art instead. It was hard to choose among the many kachina dolls, ranging in price from under $20 to over several thousand dollars, but the owner graciously helped us make a selection to suit our budget, educating us on the identity and spiritual role of each doll we admired. I would heartily recommend the store to all who are interested in Native American art, but leave small children behind--there are priceless pieces within the reach of small fingers. :-)
