“Best B & B in Oak Creek, Sedona”
Reviewed 27 April 2014

I selected this inn in hopes it would provide a view of the red rocks, unique rooms and a place to relax as the last time I was in Sedona, I stayed at an average motel-type place. The property is so authentic and the furniture, Penelton bedspreads, original artwork and talavera in the bathrooms made our stay memorable. The location is very quiet and we watched the hummingbirds on the patio while we had home-made breakfast prepared by Russ, owner.
He also made a fire in the evening which was lovely and the stars in Sedona are like diamonds. I would highly recommend this inn!

Adobe Hacienda is truly a gift in the Sedona dessert. We stayed 5 nights in the Vaquero Room. One of the many great things about AH is it is NOT located directly in the center of Sedona. Which means you have peace, quiet, and beauty surrounding you, yet with super-easy access (via car) to all the things you wish to visit.

This was our second stay at AH in 10 years. There are new owners Russ and Aurora. We couldn't have been more pleased. The Mexican inspired breakfasts were delicious and included a FULL breakfast. Aurora and Russ are both very knowledgeable about the area and helped get us where we needed to go all while being kind and thoughtful about our every request/need.

We highly recommend a day trip to "Jerome, AZ" if your time in Sedona permits. We also highly recommend "Cuccina Rustica" one of the BEST restaurants in all of Sedona - truly just a few blocks up from Adobe Hacienda.

Finally, we were travelling to Sedona for my sister's wedding this time. Adobe Hacienda has a beautiful outdoor fireplace which we lit the night of the post-wedding festivities. Sitting outside at the fire with wonderful blankets to keep us warm, surrounded by incredible stars and a lunar eclipse!

The grounds of AH are beautiful maintained and include regular visits by many hummingbirds. Our room faced a long view of the adjacent golf area and the incredible red rocks beyond. We loved waking up every morning to this view.

We would return to Adobe Hacienda in a second. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The Vaquero Room was very quiet even though it is next to the "great room".

We LOVED Adobe Hacienda. It was truly a haven. We rose to the morning sun filtering through the cottonwoods, birds singing, and a scrumptious breakfast. The location is great - out of the bustle of Sedona, and yet convenient to everything we wanted to do. Russ and Aurora couldn't be nicer and Russ is chef extraordinaire. They had perfect recommendations for activities, hikes, and tee times. We even shipped our golf clubs ahead. I'm dreaming of this wonderful spot and can't wait to return.

Room Tip: The Baja room was lovely - a comfortable queen bed, warm gas fireplace and cozy chairs for reading...

My husband and I just finished a 6 night stay at the Adobe Hacienda in the Sedona Room, our second stay at this B&B and definitely not our last. We love the quiet location outside of Sedona, the hearty breakfast served each morning near the hummingbird feeders and and the insightful recommendations for dining/activities from our hosts. The Ranger Station is about 1/2 mile south and a quick cut over to Cottonwood, Page Springs and Jerome on Beaverhead Flats Rd is just south of the B&B, avoiding Sedona traffic. It's a peaceful escape and we can't say enough great things about the Adobe Hacienda.

Room Tip: Plenty of space in the Sedona room which faces the golf course.

Everything at the Adobe Hacienda was just spectacular. My husband and I stayed in the Vaquero Room for a couple of nights and so enjoyed every moment of our stay. The room was impeccable. In addition to being very nicely decorated, it was spacious and had everything one could need while on a trip....Comfortable bed, beautiful view, relaxing atmosphere, soft linens, warm fireplace for the chilly nights.

In the lobby, there's always coffee and sweet treats. Forget the "Continental Breakfast" or breakfast buffets most hotels or B&Bs offer, at the Adobe Hacienda, you'll receive a freshly cooked breakfast to get your day started off right. The quality and presentation of the meal is 1st class and cooked by none other than the owners themselves, Russ and Aurora. They are also very helpful with suggestions for activities and restaurants.

We highly recommend and look forward to returning!

We stayed in the lovely Dream Catcher Suite for 5 nights and it was wonderful. The bedroom has a very comfortable King bed, plenty of closet space and the living room has a comfy sofa, a warm gas fireplace and a rocking chair. The owners get up early and prepare mini feasts for breakfast.
The property is right on the golf course driving range and if you are bothered by terrible golfers slicing balls into the trees, then avert your eyes when you walk on the patio to your room.

Room Tip: Dream catcher suite is great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at Adobe Hacienda only wish we could have stayed longer. Spectacular views, beautifully decorated as well as an excellent breakfast each morning. The owners, Russ & Aurora were very helpful with planning our days and treated guests like old friends. Would highly recommend Adobe Hacienda to anyone planning a visit to Sedona !!

Room Tip: El Casita is the best but every room shares the charm of this excellent B&B
