Spent 3 nights here (6/27-6/30 2014) and could not have been happier. You walk onto the property and immediately forget the outside world. The Whispering Pine Villa was perfect! Our own large patio was perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The smell of fresh baked bread filled the room as we arrived (they make it right in your room) and if you want fresh bread every day ... they will be happy to oblige.

The staff is wonderful! Gabriel wears many "hats" and can assist you with any request at a moment's notice, as well as Julie, another part of the "Innkeeper" staff that finds no request impossible! Chef Michael created a private dinner for us that was unbelievable! Great food he served to us himself and explained each dish impeccably. The morning we left Chef Jacqueline handed us warm pineapple muffins for our drive home. They were amazing!

Sedona, itself, is as beautiful as you have heard. Awe inspiring, towering Red Rock formations & Canyons, magical vortexes, and Indian ruins that just take your breath away! Do not miss RED ROCK CROSSING and CRESCENT MOON RANCH with their swimming holes, Cathedral Rock, Old water wheel, beautiful shaded trails and streams, and cairn rock creations! Best of the best!

There are two things about AGV that some may find bothersome, although they did not bother us at all ...

1) The location of the Villas is a bit odd. You turn off Hwy 89A and think you are in an older industrial part of west Sedona. You feel you must be lost. Just keep going. You will turn the next corner and "poof" Adobe Grand Villas are there! Don't give up! Get out of your car and go thru the entrance, it's well worth it!

2) They have no liquor license so you must bring in your own wines (or other alcohol). They are happy to uncork for you tho and provide glasses, corkscrews, ice bucket or whatever else you might need.

I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone.

You can tell the rooms were very well thought out. Service was incredible. We stayed there one night passing through to the grand canyon and thats all the family talked about. If we could have afforded it, we would have stayed there there whole time.

Room Tip: Stayed in the cactus room. I think the second floor rooms have the best view if available.

We spent an evening at the Adobe Grand Villas based on the phenomenal reviews people wrote. The Whispering Pines room was so luxurious - comfortable soaking tub with nearby fireplace, heavenly bed with another fireplace flickering nearby, incredible shower with soft fluffy towels, delightful patio area and gardens, tasty fresh bread in your room, water cold drinks and complimentary snacks in the room, and a refreshing pool just outside the door.
Our arrival and tour of the villa were very well received. Snack poolside and cookies later were a nice touch.
Our disappointment came with the breakfast the next morning which we were so looking forward to. The food and the service just did not even come close to the expectations we had, or the experiences we have had at other B&B's.

If you are looking for a luxurious resort with incredible attention to detail in beautiful surroundings, Adobe Grand Villas is it! My husband and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary there with a 3 night/4 day getaway. We've stayed in many lovely places during our marriage, but we both agreed that Adobe Grand was the very best of the best. We reserved the Wagon Wheel Villa, and the decor was amazing. Not everyone can brag that they've slept in a covered wagon! We appreciated the knowledgeable and friendly staff members and the many thoughtful comforts they provided including in room snacks, fresh bread, a welcome gift, and a well stocked bathroom. Our daily breakfasts were delicious and HUGE. Our room was a first floor villa, so we didn't have much of a view of the mountains; however, the private patio was lush and a perfect place to enjoy dinner. We had a rental car, so the short drive from West Sedona to the main part of town was quick and easy. Make sure you allow a full day to explore this area from the more touristy Main Street to the eclectic and lovely Tlaquepaque Marketplace. The Grand Canyon is a couple of hours away; make sure you drive through the very picturesque Oak Creek Canyon. I had no idea that I would enjoy Sedona so much; I can guarantee that I'll jump at the chance to return!

Room Tip: Trust the pictures on the website! They were very accurate. Another couple who was staying there d...

We came to Sedona for a long weekend to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Visions Villa at Adobe Grand Villas. The decor in this villa is spectacular with remarkable attention to detail. We have never stayed in a suite that is so beautiful and unique. We loved the fresh baked bread and snacks in the room. Breakfast was so delicious and the beignets were out of this world! Everyone on staff was so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until checkout. Our ground level villa did not have a view of the Red Rocks, but it did have a spectacular view of the stars. In fact, on our final night as we were sitting on our private patio, we saw the most incredibly bright meteor streak toward the Earth. What a perfect ending to the most wonderful anniversary weekend we could have imagined!

My wife and I spent four days in Sedona at the Adobe Grand Villas. We had been to Sedona three times before and this was by far and away out best time ever. That was because of this B&B. If you are going to Sedona and want a quiet and luxurious place to stay, this has to be the place. The following are my observations:
The good points:
1) The breakfast was excellent. They have one daily special. Ithink one day it was an omelet, another pancakes, and another crepes. However, if you don't want the special, just ask for something else. If you want a waffle, fin. If you want pancakes, fine. If you want an egg scramble, over easy, or any other way, fine. If you want fruit, fine. The only problem, if you call it that, is that you can't eat all of the food. There is more than enough. In other words, breakfast was excellent.
2) The staff was extremely helpful with suggestions for places to visit, recommendations for dinner, etc.
3) We stayed in the Country Garden Suite. My wife thought it was a little kitschy but I thought the decor was perfect. After all, you are paying for a themed room and the theme should be obvious.
4) I can't speak for other rooms, but we liked the Country Garden Suite. It had a fairly good view of the mountains to the east. The other good thing was that the patio area off of the bedroom was in the shade in the afternoon. That way it was pleasant to relax out there after returning from exploring the area. It does get warm in the summer.
5) The room was filled with snacks and the refrigerator had water and sodas. You can eat all that you want (not that we made pigs of ourselves) and have it refilled at no additional cost. I despise those hotels that charge you and arm and a leg for simply opening the refrigerator door.
6) We were there after mid-June. The rates drop (at least for now) quite a bit at that point making this one of the best bargains we have found.
7) The description of the room does not do it justice. The main room (bedroom) was large enough for us to easily get around and not be in each others way. The bathroom was not one of those rooms where everything is crammed together. The shower is a large, walk-in unit with the water coming out of a nozzle in the shape of an old garden watering can (a nice touch). There were also two sinks and a large tub with a jacuzzi.
8) Chef Michael makes a special dinner that can be served by prior arrangement. We did not do this but did have a chance to speak with him. He was very knowledgeable about restaurants in the area and described the dinner that he prepares. In hindsight, we wish that we had taken advantage of this opportunity.

The bad points (these are really little complaints not major points):
1) I thought the bed was a little soft and had taken on the shape of others that had slept there. In contrast, my wife thought it was very comfortable.
2) The B&B is located several miles west of the main part of Sedona. This makes it inconvenient for those who like to walk everywhere after a day of travel. However, all of the restaurants and Tlaquepaque are only a couple of miles away, so the drive is not bad.

Final comment --- we were very impressed with this B&B. I don't understand how anyone could have any negative comments. When we come back to Sedona, this will be our choice.

Room Tip: The patio of the Country Garden Suite has afternoon shade.

Loved the place, is unique, the staff is super helpful and polite. The rooms are very cool and cozy.
Great and comfortable facilities, home made breakfast was incredible plus you get it at your room without extra charge. The pool area is small but it's more than enoght..one Thing that got our attention was all the details ...they fill the rooms with snacks for free, there is coffee and snacks at the lobby 24/7, the beauty products offered are Aveda....we had a beautiful experience will definitely recommend this b&b
