The innkeeper at Canyon Villa Inn recommended this restaurant during our visit to Sedona. The decor is so very appealing and the food was great! It was too chilly to eat outside but the setting also looked beautiful. We had such a wonderful meal that we returned for dinner for another evening. I had the eggplant parm both nights-delicious! I would definitely making at least one of their dinner plans for Cucina Rustina, Sedona, Arizona!

First, they were flexible. We had a reservation for 7:00 or 7:30, but got a little carried away watching the sunset at the airport mesa, so were late returning to our hotel. The person we spoke with to push our reservation back was delightful, and there was no issue. When we arrived, we were asked if we had a preference for outside or inside. We chose inside, and were quickly shown to a corner table in the first room on the left, in the back right corner. It was a very romantic, cozy table that they had adorned with red rose petals as this was a special birthday celebration. Don, our server, was professional, funny, competent, and a delight. He recommended a few drinks, and I had the pomegranitini, which was heavenly. Don went over the menu with us, and we chose the grilled artichoke and the burrata. There just aren't any words...seriously. Here is the artichoke description: CARCIOFO ALLA GRIGLIA – 11.00 Fresh organic Castroville Artichoke, grilled and served with a Lemon Pesto Aioli. AMAZING. It was perfectly prepared. The burrata was something out of this world as well!

I had the Marechiaro, well-priced at $28, which is described as, "sea scallops, prawns and calamari sauteed with organic campari tomatoes, capers and fresh basil, served in a delicately spiced bouillabaisse style sauce over orzo riso pasta." Pure heaven. Absolutely amazing. He had another seafood dish which was also wonderful. We also took a slice of pumpkin cheesecake back to the Hilton (also amazing!) and had that for breakfast the following morning. It was perfect!

We also purchased the cookbook, autographed by Lisa, and we were lucky enough to meet her on the way out. She was dining with a group and stopped her dinner to greet us and thank us for coming. She offered to personalize the book as well.

This is my new favorite restaurant anywhere in the world. From the initial experience making the reservation to the memories, there isn't anything I would change. We will be back, without question. Thank you also to Sarah Lindsten, Sales Manager at the Hilton, for recommending the restaurant to us! The Hilton also provides golf cart door to door service to the restaurant from the hotel.

You will NOT be disappointed! Incredible food, impeccable service, unbeatable romance.

We came late on a Sunday night after arriving in Sedona and the place was packed. We didn't have a reservation, but they seated us in a great corner booth immediately. The service (Elizabeth) was superb. She was pleasant, efficient and gracious. The food was superb as well. Even though it was getting cooler (November) they had outdoor heaters to where people were very comfortable. Great restaurant, reasonably priced and committed to excellence...which is hard to find these days!
