We stayed for a week in April and is the first time we stayed at a timeshare in Sedona. It was roomy and nicely appointed. We were disappointed with the small balcony, (for 4 people) and the showerhead which tended to spray around us, but not on us. The beds were soft and the linens kept coming off the bed....also very worn. The kitchen was very nice and the location was easily accessed and close to Cottonwood, downtown Sedona, shopping and in the center of many very good restraurants. We would come again. We would make sure that we did not get a unit that had no balcony...as we saw some...and would request a second floor as that is where the views are the best.

Room Tip: ASk for second floor for a view. If have friends request a larger balcony.

We are Wyndham Gold owners and this by far is the worse resort we have stayed in. The staff is helpful but the accommodations are terrible. There is no patio/lanai/deck outside space at our unit. The three windows of the unit face either a stone pillar or rock wall and the main walkway for the other units so drapes have to be drawn all the time. There is one table lamp for the the living room so the only place to read etc is at one end of the couch. The small TV provided is in an "entertainment" case and can't be moved so can only be viewed from the couch. We were told that we would have a full kitchen but it has no space to store food or counter space to prepare. The mini stove has four burners but you can only use one at a time because there is no room for more pans. The sink is so small a frying pan will not fit in it to clean. The table is at the far end of the unit away from the kitchen - awkward. We asked for another unit but were told none was available. This resort is an embarrassment to the Wyndham system and time share as a whole.

Room Tip: We made reservations 4 months ahead. Apparently this was not far enough ahead to get a unit with a...

The staff at this RCI affiliate was cordial but didn't know their property, or just lied. We arrived around 1:00 pm. Unit would not be available until 4:00 pm. Ok asked if the unit had a view, "oh yes" we were told. We spoke to the concierge who was also very nice and ask them the same question, "oh yes" we were told again. We got a call that our unit was ready at 3:30. Got to the unit. We had a view alright of the parking lot and the maintenance yard, and we had 2 plastic chairs to sit on in the parking lot as there was not deck or balcony.

Unit was clean and well equipped, but no housekeeping the entire 4 days. Sedona is a beautiful area with lots to see and do. Could have been so much better with a view.

Room Tip: Ask for second floor with balcony

We stayed here last month and had a great time. The resort is nice, in a quiet area of town but is still close to restaurants and groceries. The rooms were nice, large, and clean. Our room didn't have a view at all, but the ones on upper levels certainly do! I would definitely stay here again, there is so much to do within a short drive, such as Phoenix and the Grand Canyon.

We are Wyndham owners. This trip partially was just trying to use up our annual points. We chose a place that we had never been which was Sedona for this time. To our surprise, we had a great time there and Wyndham Sedona made our trip so pleasant. First of all, their staff were knowledgeable about what what visitors' needs and interest, as well as the geological surroundings. They are very friendly and patient to tell people "how to"and "what to" . There are organized activities, such as hiking, yoga class, Grand Canyon trips, and evening shows. They publicize them to let new comers know and many of them were free.

The units are apartment style. The kitchen had all-you-need cooking stuff neatly lined up in the closet and cabinet. It looked clean everywhere. The lay-out of the unit is spacious and homey. Restaurants and regular supermarket (Safeway) are nearby, some of them are in walking distance. That makes meals easy, fun and cheaper.

What about the scenery? Every photo shot can be a postcard in Sedona. I thought I would not be able to enjoy the beauty of rocks. I was totally wrong. The formations around Sedona
are magnificent, majestic and mystic; just like what we were introduced. There are also many things to do in the vicinity, including learning part of the natives (Navajo) history. Trying the local edibles is so fun, and eating cactus is amazing. I rarely saw green grass and lawns in this area. However, the yellow, red ground and spaced vegetation makes a different beauty, different from the beauty of the east, different from what I used to see. This trip was my wonderful surprise, it was also my eye opener.

The Wyndham Sedona was a wonderful place to spend a week. It’s a fairly small resort and our 1 bedroom deluxe unit was comfortable and well equipped. Though the resort had a heated outdoor pool, and various activities available, we didn’t really take advantage of any of them. The unit was clean and cheerful, with nice furniture and appointments. There was a noisy, but very efficient stacked washer and dryer. They stress “quiet time” and you are advised not to use either your washer, dryer or Jacuzzi tub between the hours of 10 p.m and 7 a.m.

The resort was conveniently located near stores and restaurants - within a couple blocks of the Safeway to get groceries, but in the quiet end of town. Restaurants and shops are an easy drive away. The bed was very comfortable and I believe our unit must have been recently upgraded as compared to some reviews, everything in the unit was in great condition.

We didn't have a great view from our unit, but all of Sedona is beautiful and this was a great place to stay while getting out to see all of the sights in the area. It snowed one night and seeing the snow on the shrubs and tops of the red rocks was amazing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a good view - we didn't and got a large patio overlooking wood chips and shr...

We spent two weeks here in February. At first, I was disappointed that it was not within walking distance of downtown, however realized that it was quieter and more peaceful as a result.
It's located close to a grocery store, so it's easy to pick up groceries. There are a few restaurants nearby as well.
Our unit was spacious and we had a nice view of the red rocks. There are activities offered if you are interested. The pool and workout areas are good.
The only downside (why it doesn't get a rating of 5) is that you will be pestered to go through a presentation for their timeshare system. We were told that it would be "only an hour." After 90 minutes, I got very frustrated because I really did not want to be there in the first place. However, if you don't agree to sit through the presentation, the staff are instructed to call you every day to pressure to do it. At least we got it out of the way early in our stay, but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Room Tip: One bedroom deluxe will give you a balcony, so you can get a view of the surrounding red rocks.
