We found this place on a travel website but had known about it for years. We stayed 2 beautiful nights in a Studio Suite. We couldn't have been happier. Duane at the front desk was a gem and very personable. He is an artist with many wonderful stories to share. I don't know who the bad reviews were referring to but he was wonderful.
Our room overlooked the golf course and at night we sat outside and were actually able to see every star in the sky. It was very mystical. You don't see that in big cities.
Our bed was extremely comfortable, the room immaculate and well appointed with many kitchen amenities. the Jacuzzi tub seats two and was a wonderful surprise. They have a nice pool, laundry, and basketball hoop if you are so inclined.
I really can't say enough good things about our stay. We will definitely make this our go-to place in Sedona. Our Tv and Wifi worked well as opposed to other reviews. Not really sure how a bad thing could be said so give this wonderful place a try.

Room Tip: Don't write off this place. It's great. We love the golf course view but the creek side is...

We have just spent our second night at this hotel and moving to another today! The only nice feature is the creek outside. The walled off bedroom is not what we wanted. The walls don't go to ceiling so you hear everything in that bedroom! The hotel looks like a motel with a fenced pool in front. All the nice amenities you need to travel to the hotel next door for. And I mean drive because it is too far too walk. I don't want to drive to a nice pool.... Our bathroom is now flooded too from using the jacuzzi tub! Did I mention the bed and the couch are VERY uncomfortable too! Skip it and stay somewhere else!

Room Tip: A new hotel

We had a one bedroom unit by the creek. It came with an in room jacuzzi tub that seated two people, a gas fireplace, new appliances, flat screen tv, king bed with nice linens. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We threw my husband a birthday party and had 15 people over. Duane at the front desk knew about the party in advance and due to lower occupancy during January he was able to keep the rooms on either side of us vacant so no one would be disturbed. The wi-fi service was good but a little slow at times and the TV in the bedroom was rather old and could use updating. We enjoyed being able to walk along the creek and the quiet and serenity of the location. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We enjoyed being down by the creek and directly across from the pool & jacuzzi

So be ready for a hotel room that basically has a walled off bedroom and a terrible kitchen. Not very accommodating for more than 2 people. The pullout couch is in the same room as everything else, including open walls to the bed. This would have been ok if the staff were easy to work with but this was terrible service. They had a surcharge to everything from additional soap for the shower to dishwasher tablets...u think they would want you to clean their dishes. Also, after staying an entire week, with probably only 5 units full (no where near full occupancy) they refused to give us an hour extension on late check out. They also advertise a pool that isn't heated and bbqs that don't even have functioning lighters. Good luck cooking here.

We had a studio which is basically a glorified motel room. The fireplace was nice and the whirlpool tub was pleasant. The backyard had a pond and fountain. The furnishings were comfortable and the room fairly well maintained.
On the down side, my wife and I were disappointed with the lack of kitchen equipment and the attitude of the staff.
The kitchenette is enhance by a dishwasher, but there is no oven and the frig is so small that it cannot hold more than the next day’s food. The freezer held 2 frozen dinners or the ice trays. Not both. The freezer stopped working while we were there. We heard everything from the family next door. Thankfully they were relatively quiet and kept normal hours so it was not too bad.
The internet was spotty. Might work and might not. The cable was so poor that the screen constantly was blinking “unusable signal”. Audio stayed on but the video would blink and sometimes just black out until you changed the channel and then back. It was very annoying. The furnace would make a loud click when it turned on. It awakened us each time.
The staff was welcoming and pleasant on check in until the next couple arrived. They made us sign a thing that agreed to put a $50 charge on our bill if we called them after hours regardless of the problem. The office closes at 5:30 and was often deserted. The pool was not heated and thus was unusable in Nov. There was no washer dryer in the room, which is understandable but the one the allowed us to use required us to pay.
I think the problem is that there is no motivation. The staff bragged that the timeshare was sold out and only had one come up occasionally. They are coasting and have lost their motivation to make you stay first rate.

Room Tip: You have no choice.

. Check-in went very smoothly. There is a pool on site and laundry facilities, however for any activities, we are directed to their sister timeshares in mid-town Sedona. Since we did not have children with us and were not interested in resort activities this was not a problem. If you are traveling with children, this might not be to your liking as they might get bored with just a small pool and spa. Signs indicate that children must be over 17 to be without an adult in the pool. We were there to hike and golf. There is a nice 9-hole par 3 golf course between the timeshares and hotel, so it was ideal. We could golf at any time without driving anywhere. The cost is reasonable and there is an all-day golf rate of $25.00 each that we took advantage of. We were able to go early in the morning and then again in the evening. Some days we golfed as many as 4 or 5 rounds!
The villa was very well stocked with all kitchen small appliances, dishes, etc. It is a very comfortable size for 2 people. The bedroom does not have full walls between the living room and bedroom, so if both of the televisions are on, this is a problem if they are on different channels, as the sound travels over the wall opening above the kitchen wall. Since we were out enjoying the beautiful mountains of Sedona, this was not much of a problem. The room is comfortable and our patio overlooked the Oak Creek. A very relaxing atmosphere. You will either get an Oak Creek View or a Golf Course View, both are lovely. There is a fireplace in the corner of the living room, but in the summer, it is too hot for that. The place was very clean and the bathrooms and kitchen looked updated with granite countertops. There is a nice picnic area with barbeque grills on site. The office staff was friendly and responded quickly with any questions or concerns.

Room Tip: Villa #320 has a patio overlooking Oak Creek.
