“Ridiculously delicious and fun”
Reviewed 15 December 2013

Just loved this place. When we arrived at our hotel, and asked for a recommendation for dinner, there was no hesitation that we had to go to Elote. Excellent margaritas, excellent service, the signature dish Elote is actually an appetizer and we drooled over it. Carnitas were the best I've ever had. Very reasonably priced. Fun night.

“Popular Sedona eatery draws a crowd, but worth the wait.”
Reviewed 14 December 2013

Located in an unassuming motel on the south side of town, Elote is the sort of place that you would probably not discover without the advice of friends or online reviews. Don't let the plain decor fool you. This is one of the better Mexican-style restaurants you will encounter. Great service, imaginative cuisine, and a good beer and wine list make this a great dining choice.

“ELOTE - IT'S WORTH THE WAIT!”
Reviewed 5 December 2013

We come to Sedona once a year and having discovered ELOTE, we look forward to this unpretentious, OUTRAGEOUSLY delicious restaurant every year! EVERY item we've tried has been superb and the margaritas are lovely. If you like to cook, buy the cookbook. We've cooked most of the recipes and still come to Elote for more. Our waitress, (this last visit) Jasmine, was so adorable and welcoming and still professional. Go to Elote, even if you have to wait. You'll make new friends drinking margaritas and eating popcorn outside, I promise!

“Don't let idea of long wait stop you from considering”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

We decided that if we had to wait outside in chilly weather, we would go somewhere else that we hoped to hit during our Sedona trip...but were seated right away by very friendly and cheerful people who didn't let their smiles leave their face when they turned away. The salsa for the chips that came quickly as an app was mild and tasty. Of course we ordered the Elote app, but although it was nice, was a bit mild for our tastes. My halibut was very nicely done, and the huge serving of lamb shank will be lunch tomorrow with some sliced radishes and bits of cilantro in a tortilla--for two! Glad we went, and if the weather was good, we wouldn't mind a wait.
