A fabulous place- they have thought of so many things and are as helpful as you need/want them to be. So pleased with the room and ammenities, comfy bed/bedding, variety of patio seating, delicious and filling breakfast, two firepits, amazing unobstruced view, accessible bike/hike trails from the patio.

Room Tip: Dessert Rendevous. It is small, but not crowded or cramped. For not being a suite, we still found...

Hey A& A--- Mucho thanx for your kind and appreciative words. We loved getting to know you both and enjoyed sharing your anniversary. You are correct that the D.R. room is not crowded... especially after we removed that group of Shriners. ---- Till we met again

A family trip with our adult children and spouse proved to be amazing in Sedona, and the Cozy Cactus added to the amazing energy we felt in the presence of Red Rock beauty. The hospitality and warmth was more than we anticipated. Breakfasts were delicious, and Mark and Carrie were warm, welcoming and fun. The only drawback was no pool if you want to take a dip after a long hike. The accommodations were comfortable and so Sedona cute. The patio was a wonderful haven to sit out with the fire in the evening - even though there is a 9pm noise ordinance - that means NO loud talking/laughing. Mark and Carrie were wonderful concierges - and the common area had all you needed for day trips - coolers, walking sticks, back pack. We would highly recommend the Cozy Cactus to anyone visiting Sedona - it was a wonderful experience and we would go back in a heart beat!!

Room Tip: we stayed in the Cowboy Suite - it was perfect for 4 - 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms - one room was a...

Hi Lisa---- Regards to the rest of the gang. Thanks for the kind words... we enjoyed hosting your stay muy mucho. Great pics... but what's with the feet on the furniture (just kidding... Carrie told me I'd best qualify) Also thanks for initiating the pool issue we have made some progress ( no Bruce we are NOT starting the dig) but we have signed on with the Hiltons's latest promo for $10 for daily use of facilities. Tell Garret that Tequila misses him, and I'm sorry about the Blackhawks. Happy trails to you all....till we meet again

On a scale of 1-5, Cozy Cactus is a six! The owners do a wonderful job of making you feel like part of their family. We have stayed here twice, and will stay again. Love the views from the Vortex. Mark's muffins are the best.

But why not a 7 or 8 or 10? Thank you again for the great pictures and the internet tips. We've gone hi-tech now, no more DSL it's all high speed cable now with boosters so great internet even in the "Vortex Vista". You have to come back soon so you can meet the Tequila the new rescue puppy, well about 11 months old, she's a hit with all the guests.

Big hugs to you both!

This was our first visit to Arizona, a 30th anniversary celbration. A friend had suggested exploring the Oak Creek area and B&B is our usual style. But we were unprepared for both the gracious, generous, and warm hospitality of Carrie and Mark at the Cozy Cactus and the visual power of the terrain.

Mark greeted and guided us through parking, check-in, and orientation to the common areas. Our room was clean, bright, interesting, and comfortable. The gardens and plantings are striking and beautiful, There are abundant birds of many species, including more humming birds than I have ever seen. The backyard IS the Coconino National Forest and all the hiking and biking you could ever ask for. And the food, the food is wonderfully prepared, presented and served by these two attentive and knowledgeable hosts.

We will return.

Now aren't you glad you added a day! Thank you so much for sharing your Anniversary stay with others. We can go on and on about the location and all but it is so much better received when it comes from a "Cozie". So is it squarefoot /roundshoe?

Please come back and see us again, we're always coming up with new recipes and muffins. Yesterday was the first time for corn-green chile pancakes, I must say they were a hit.

Hugs to you both,

Carrie

This was our second visit to Sedona and we are so glad we chose cozy cactus for our stay. We stayed in the Cowboy Suite for the full week. Our experience here had so many plus points we would return again like a shot. There is great outside space with places to sit and relax in sun or shade and as others have said wonderful Sedona rock views with the added bonus that you can walk out of the property directly onto trails that connect to Bell Rock and beyond. The bed was incredibly comfy. The ambience of the whole suite was a combined shabby chic western joy with quality furniture and fittings It was a very spacious living area and full of mod cons (see website) and thoughtful touches such as a drawer with little packets of sauces, mustard etc; and a jar of snacks and M&Ms that magically refilled every day. Last but not least Carrie and Mark are wonderful hosts. Their breakfast is a treat served al fresco whenever possible, great muffins fresh fruit and Carrie's cooking was amazing. Their aim is to meet as strangers but part as friends and that was exactly our experience.

This wonderful B&B is amazing - the Location (views of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butt), the newly remodeled rooms and suites, the hospitality of the innkeepers - Carrie and Mark are always helpful, fun to talk to, great Chefs in the kitchen. The breakfast is the best I ever had in the US, three course with fresh fruits, yummy muffins, and incredible omlettes or french toast or breakfast burrito. And they ask your preferences or allergies, so that they can offer you a perfect dish that exceeds your expectations. I live in Germany - this year I have to come to Sedona twice - just because of the Cozy Cactus :-)

You - you made me cry (and smile at the same time) - Can't wait for your October visit, West Fork is so pretty in the Fall with all of the colors. Tequila is doing just amazing, she's grown a few inches and is about 55 pounds. I think it's safe to say now that our breakfasts are coming in as the two reason for visiting now that she's winning over everyone's hearts. You're going to love staying in the Vortex Vista this time (three is a charm) - Can't wait to see your smiling face and here your great laugh - Here's a big oh HUG coming to you from the Cozy Cactus!

This was our second visit to the Cozy Cactus and once again, we absolutely loved it!! The bed and breakfast is in a perfect location in the village of Oak Creek. The view of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte from the patio is wonderful. In the morning, it was a beautiful place to enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise and many varieties of birds. Also a great place to relax and stargaze after a busy day of walking and sightseeing. The owners, Carrie and Mark, have created a very special place for visitors to Sedona. The inn is beautiful, as well as a cozy and comfortable place to spend a few days or a few weeks. My sister and her husband joined us this time for their first visit to Sedona, and they fell in love with the Cozy Cactus, too. We stayed in the Cowboy Hideaway Suite and it was perfect for 4 people. Carrie and Mark, thank you again for making our visit so enjoyable. We loved meeting your new puppy, Tequila, too. We will be back soon.

Hey ti's been almost two months, Tequila misses you! We really enjoyed seeing you two again and getting to meet some of the family. Nice xmas gift I would say! Thank you for not only sharing your experiences (both of them) with TA readers but also for sharing us with your loved ones. We are the luckiest people on the planet...and it's all because of your guests.

Until next time - hugs and kisses-

Carrie (Mark tried to write some reviews, but it took him all afternoon to do two - not so good with computers - so I've taken over as we want to say a big thank you to everyone)
