Our family of four visited in August and had a wonderful time. Enchantment is few miles outside of Sedona proper, tucked in a canyon so you are surrounded by spectacular red rock spires that seem close enough to touch. For us it was perfect: close enough to get anywhere we wanted quickly, but remote enough that we felt away from it all.

From the moment you're greeted at the gate, you know it's a resort that emphasizes the personal touch. We checked in and were given a great tour of the facilities and half the family accepted a golf cart ride to our casita (conveniently situated near the pool). Our room had plenty of space, a nice patio, and was very well appointed (with lots of little touches like hideaway bathroom doors). Every morning we found orange juice bottles in a bucket of ice on our doorstep and every night our beds were turned down and room immaculate.

With a teenager and seven-year-old, we were there primarily for the beautiful location and a "base camp" with easy access to the outdoors. We didn't take advantage of the spa, golf course, and tennis courts. But we did appreciate the pool after each day's adventures in the area, enjoy outstanding food and service at the on-site restaurants, and hike from the property into the nearby mountains (behind the spa there's a locked gate that opens with your room key for easy access to some quick hikes with great views of the area). The concierge service was also excellent in helping us find fun things to do in the area.

We had a wonderful time and would greatly recommend Enchantment. It's on the expensive side if you're not taking advantage of all services, but, honestly, we thought it was well worth it. There's no better way to be introduced to the beauty of Sedona.

The resort is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Everyone was so friendly and ready to help. The concierge team is top notch and will help answer any questions you have.

The property itself is a stunner, set within the red rocks, you can't help but be amazed by your surroundings. We certainly were, as it was our first time in the Southwest ever.

Quite note... if you're going without kids, spend your time at Mii Amo, the spa, which is included in your resort fee. No kids under 16 and the pool is spectacular. I spent about 6 hours there one day, just dipping in the pool when getting too hot.

We also did a red rock hike, one of their activities, which was great. The guide was knowledgeable and fun, and took us off the beaten path. Totally worth it. But you can do your own hikes without even leaving the property, as there are some hikes right behind the spa which are stunning, too.

The rooms were great, clean and decorated with a modern style. In-room locker, robes for your use, air control worked perfectly, the patio was great but the knockout was that bathroom. I want that bathroom design! Double sinks and a separate toilet you can shut the door from the rest of the bathroom from? Yes please! Water pressure was lovely, and products were equally stellar. Loved coming back to the room after a hike and taking a relaxing shower. Just perfect.

This resort and spa are so beautiful. The amenities and classes provided are awesome. Loved the tranquility and beauty of how the resort is part of the landscape. The mountain biking and classes provided are great. I will be returning every year!

We went here for a anniversary in September and it was amazing. I am surprised that it is not rated #1 on Tripadvisor. If you want to truly experience Sedona than you have to stay here. Everything about this place is surreal. As soon as you drive into the property you feel like you are in a different world. If you are into hiking and biking and stuff than this is the place for you. They have daily guided hiking and biking trips around the area and the guides are really good too. I went on a hiking trail to Thunder rock and it was crazy good. Do not do it if you are afraid of heights. I can go on and on about this place but don't have enough time.If you are trying to pick between here and L'auberge than you should definitely go with Enchantment because L'auberge(we went here for dinner which was amazing) is located on a creek while Enchantment is actually in between the red rock mountains.
Pros- Location, service and whole package.
Cons- The walls are too thin and you can hear everything in the next room.
Mi Amo Spa facility is great but the actual service is mediocre.
