The most beautiful setting deep in a red rock canyon! World class food and extensive wine list....every evening was most memorable. The terrace cocktail and dining area is one of the most magical anywhere in the world!!! Loved the spa, the grounds were lovely, and our casita was large and cozy. Can't wait to go back!! Heavenly!!!

Room Tip: It's nice to be able to walk to the spa, so choose a casita near it. Lovely adult pool there.

Tucked away between the most beautiful red rock mountains and a vortex that will take you away to a sacred journey. Weeks later you will look back an reflect on the stay and yes - it was a dream. The relaxation is immediate and the Mi Amo Spa amazing. Dining at the spa was our favorite - exceptional low calorie food. The entire staff was friendly and over the top accommodating. Convenient to Sedona and wonderful hikes around the area. If you are planning a trip in this area - don't miss this wonderful experience.

We went to this resort for a short family break and found it delightful. The staff are very meticulous and guests will truly feel pampered. There are a lot of fun activities in and around the escort and given the proximity to Sedona there are a lot of additional choices for hikes and such. The location of the resort is superb. Set in a canyon that is quite far removed from the hustle and bustle, this place really lives up to its name - Enchantment!!

If you do stay here, do not miss taking the trip uphill (roughly 3-4 miles) past the Palatki ruins to see the sunset. The colors are brilliant as they reflect off the red rocks - easily the best spot around town to watch the evening drama.

The casitas are quite spacious and have great views of the red rocks. At night the balcony is an ideal place to sip some wine and contemplate the stars which one never sees in the cities close by. The spa on the property is world renowned and garners a lot of attention deservedly. It is a tranquil retreat indeed.

The restaurants on the property are fine although some of their offerings left me scratching my head. Since they have promoted this is a a "healthy" place, I expected a fair number of healthy choices - vegetarian for example. Alas, most of those choices are limited to the restaurant located in the spa Mi Amo and unfortunately out of bounds for families with kids below 16 yrs! This is a travesty and we felt a bit cheated given our inability to access that restaurant. Apparently this has to do with zoning regulations and pool fences etc.

All in all, a truly one of a kind experience.

Room Tip: Look for the casitas located at the higher elevation up the hills.

We stayed just one beautiful night in one of the cosy red clay-coloured casitas (rustic, masculine interior..), nestled at various levels along the low hills of the red rock mountain surround and just a few miles from town. Pathways meander between buildings and you sense the peaceful, secluded wilderness...it's unbelievably tranquil. On our twilight walk to dinner in the main 'lodge' a deer appeared quietly beside us on the other side of the stair handrail (no more than 3 feet away), seeming not even to notice us as we descended to the lower walkway alongside...
The dinner was excellent, casual elegance, and the service was totally warm and relaxed. There's a wonderful pool area and as a friend of mine had informed me, the resort in whole reflects the Sedona area perfectly: '...it's almost spiritual!' I would probably go nuts at the resort for more than two or three days, but my wife fell totally in love with it and was sorry we didn't have a week or two there! Definitely would go back though...anytime.

Room Tip: If walking on uneven paths is a concern for you, mention it at time of booking so they can get you a...

My wife and I spent 3 night's "Toxing" in Vegas, and then 3 nights "Detoxing" in Sedona. Enchantment was like no place we have ever stayed before.

The resort is located a few miles outside of town (Which is really not that great, mainly touristy shops and galleries) in the amazing Boynton Canyon. Upon arrival, you will be checked in at the guard gate, and drive to the main area. Check in is outside, with the amazing red rock cliffs at your back. The staff is super friendly. After check in, the bellman will show you where to park, and drive you in a golf cart to your casita. Our bellman, Dev, was also excellent. He gave me tips on a hike I was going to try the next morning (Bear Mtn.) and mentally prepared me for it. (I knew it would be hard, but it was twice as hard as I would have thought before talking to him). Hopefully he will read this, because thanks to his advice, i got on the trail at 5:15am, I made it safely up (2hrs 5mins) and safely down (1 hr 45 mins). Also, Bear Mtn., Doe Mtn, and Boynton Canyon trailheads are only a few minutes drive from the resort. You can also access Boynton canyon trail from the resort itself

Our casita was beautiful, only a short walk to the main resort area, and about a five minute walk to the spa. The view of the red rocks from our porch was incredible, and the stars that you could see at night were amazing. Everything about the casita was five star, plus the bed was super comfortable.

Our first morning, I did my hike while my wife went to the spa, and had a few treatments. She said that the spa was incredible. When I got back, I joined her at the spa pool, which was amazing and relaxing. I loved the healthy juice bar type foods/ smoothies available. The service at the pool was great, and the chairs were awesome.

We went to a wine tasting put on by the resort that afternoon, and had a blast. The wine was great, the presentation was informative, and it was a great way to meet others staying at the resort.

The second morning, we went on a guided hike the spa scheduled to Chimney Rock. Our guide, Lauren, was excellent. She was informative, and selected a great, scenic hike for our group.

After the hike, we spent another afternoon at the spa pool. Wonderful.

Our last night, we had dinner at the resort restaurant, and some drinks at the bar while watching the Olympic Opening Ceremonies. Everything was great, and we felt comfortable and welcomed in all areas of the resort.

I can't say enough great things about Enchantment. The medium size of the resort, the private casitas, the location, and most of all, the staff, combine to make this most memorable place we have ever stayed. We will definitely be coming back.

If you plan to visit Sedona, a stop at Enchantment Resort should be high on your list! This property is tucked in the Red Rocks away from the main roads thru Sedona but worth the quick 5-10 min drive to Boynton Canyon. The food is excellent (even for a lunch or Dinner day trip) as they views are spectacular in every direction! The property is immaculately kept and you feel away from the crowds and in a special place
This is one stop you shouldn't miss; even if only for a lunch on the open patio!

We spent two nights in June at this wonderful resort. What an utterly beautiful place to stay! It's a few miles off the main highway, tucked up underneath spectacular red rocks. We had a lovely quiet casita, recently refurbished. Quiet. Excellent linens, large comfortable bed, private terrace, all the latest amenities. The main pool is beautiful, swimming beneath a view of the red rocks towering above us, or floating on my back staring up at the stars. We took bikes and rode around the grounds, played on the little golf course (more for kids than adults), sat on the expansive terraces, drink in hand watching the sun set, the red rocks lighting up before us. Food was adequate. But if one didn't want to leave the resort, didn't mind paying the higher tarifs, there were enough interesting, satisfying options. As I'm a chef, I'm a little more picky, so we found food in Sedona more to our liking. One thing we thoroughly enjoyed was an astronomer who set up extraordinary telescopes on the tennis pitch so that we could gaze up at the heavens. He was such a pro. We loved his show! All in all, if we were to go back to Sedona anytime soon, we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. One more thing, although not inexpensive, we payed far less for far more service than the cost of our stay at mid-range hotel in Downtown Denver.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask about casitas without an air conditioner/s within earshot. That would be my only comp...
