“Great stay in uptown Sedona”
Reviewed 19 April 2012

We recently stayed with our family(12 in all) in 3 creekside villas. It was a perfect location in uptown so everyone could head out to shop and eat without all of us loading up in the vehicle. The villas with their views of the creek make you forget you are just down the hill from a busy street. The breakfast included was a plus with 6 kids aged 11-17 with us!! We were there 2 nights, as we took a trip 1 day up to the Grand Canyon for a helicopter ride - also an incredible experience. Our family all loved the red rocks of Sedona, and I'm sure we will all be back!

If there is issues in your unit after 10 pm, don't count on anyone to come. We had a gas leak in our unit and I had to call 911 for help, fire department came and helped us, had to evacuate my 3 little kids at midnight. Safety should always be a priority, emergency numbers for the facility is worthless.

Dear Valued Guest,

Your stay was a Villa that is part of the Time Share portion of the building and not affiliated with our hotel at all. We encourage you to contact the Time Share office regarding your concerns. Our staff merely wanted you to be safe by dialing 911 as it is not part of our Hotel.

Thank you

Stayed in the villas for girls weekend! Four of us made a 4 day long weekend in Sedona. I have stayed in the hotel in the past and loved it but this time we stayed in the Villas! Wow! Master bedroom is so beautiful! Overlooking Oak Creek! Everything you could possibly need is provided! The breakfast is more then anywhere I have stayed in the past. Plus, this hotel is right next to the sidewalk for all of the shops in Uptown Sedona! Perfect choice for families, couples or girlfriends wanting to have some fun!

We stayed with our 3 children in a first floor unit facing the rocks. I would describe the patio as a wide shared walkway with chairs and a table in front of the room. We thought the set up was fine and enjoyed the view from the patio. The first floor was convenient with the kids. The room was clean and pleasant. Big enough to put a cot in it as well for our 3rd child. The beds were very comfortable. However, I don't think you will be spending much time in the room if you visit Sedona. The kids also enjoyed the indoor outdoor pool and game room. They would have loved to have spent the day playing in the creek that runs behind the villas and climbing on the rocks but we had a lot of sight seeing to do. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect. The hotel is right on the main street with shops and restaurants. Seems to be in the heart of the town. The buffet breakfast was great. More than what many hotels offer. If you compare the price of this hotel to others in Sedona you will find it is a good deal for all the amenities that are included. My husband left his laptop in the room when we left and didn't realize it until a few days later. Fortunately it had been found and put into the hotel safe so we were able to get it back. Thanks to the staff and/or guests who were responsible for its return! We would definitely stay there again!

This property is amazing! Without the Best Western signage on the building, you would swear that you were staying at a high end resort! The North King Suite was clean and recently remodeled, and it included a large flat-screen TV, a plush king bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub and an amazing shower with 4 spray heads!
The complimentary breakfast was great and the staff did an amazing job of keeping the food fresh and the many guests happy. In addition to the great room and breakfast, we had access to the "clubhouse" which had everything from swimming, hot tub, ping-pong, air hockey and racquetball. What an outstanding place to spend time while vacationing in Sedona!

Room Tip: The North King Suites ar quiet, cozy and very comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay over Spring Break at the Best Western Arroyo Roble Hotel & Creekside Villas in Sedona. The hotel is located in uptown Sedona, right in the middle of everything. It was nice to park the car and be able to walk to dinner and shopping. We stayed in one of the Creekside Villas which are 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath condos with full kitchens and a washer/dryer located right on Oak Creek. Very clean and very quiet. The setting on Oak Creek was so peaceful - it was nice going to bed and waking up in the morning to the sounds of water and chirping birds - and the kids loved exploring the creek area and the red rock area surrounding it. Amenities were great -- 2 pools (one of which was indoors and heated), hot tubs, a game room with ping pong, foosball, billiards, and shuffleboard, outdoor grilling areas, a nice playground, benches and swings overlooking the creek, etc. There were hummingbird feeders around the property and hummingbirds were everywhere -- the kids loved this. The hotel has a really nice free hot breakfast included with your stay here -- fresh fruit, juices and coffee, scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits, waffles -- even a nice frittata one morning. The staff is very nice and helpful especially the wonderful lady at the front desk of the game room/pool area. We will stay here every time we visit Sedona!

Room Tip: The creekside villas are perfect for a family

Prior to our fabulous trip to Sedona, I read and read reviews about hotels before choosing the BW Arroyo Roble. My husband and I were so happy with our choice! We had a North King "suite" with fireplace. The view was fabulous, and we took so many pictures of the changing light on the red rocks dominating the vista from our balcony. The room was well appointed--not 5-star, but very comfortable and clean with everything we needed to make a week's stay enjoyable. Housekeeping was excellent and responsive. Our only suggestion was that they needed to adjust the fireplace--it burned like two torches on high! A lower flame would be more relaxing and, I presume, more cost effective. This adjustment was not accomplished. We used and appreciated the fridge, wet bar, and coffee maker. Ice and the laundry were only a a flight of stairs down, and the laundry room was very clean. These facilities came in handy to take care of the red dust on jeans after horseback riding. So many previous reviews rave about the breakfast, and I can't help but join that fan club. Variety, freshness, pleasant service--we started each day well fueled for our activities. We didn't use the pool, but it is beautiful, and the grounds are well-maintained. In walking around the hotel, I saw some room areas that appeared to be less desirable than what we had, but I can only speak to our satisfaction with our stay in the quiet and spacious North suite. Yes, a bit pricey by BW standards, but definitely worth it. Finally, I have to add that all staff were courteous, helpful and friendly, and the location was ideal. We walked to dinner and shopping and were only a few minutes away from the beautiful views of 89A North. We were uncommonly satisfied with all aspects of our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony and Red Rock view.
