We booked this hotel and prepaid through Expedia. This hotel is the worst experience I have ever had. We attempted on several occasions to contact the manager but he never returned our calls or messages. After 4 days we checked out and into another hotel to salvage our vacation. Our room boasted a toilet that constantly ran, an uncontrollable air conditioning unit, unchanged sheets on the hide-a-bed (we found a waffle and a fork along with crumbs), a stained uncomfortable sofa, a door that did not close completely, the stove didn't work, the closet doors were off the runners, we had to go and get clean towels and shampoo, the corridors and outdoor areas were unclean and there were stray cats roaming about. The Gentleman's Club next door was noisy and a bit scary. Breakfast was marginal and after I saw the stray cats I couldn't eat it. Most times when I was in the lobby to register a complain or request a service there were others there with similar requests/complaints. We plan to pursue this experience with Expedia and the Tempe/Phoenix Better Business Bureau. This hotel is unsafe as well as unsavory.

I need a three beds in one room and booked it on Hotel.com. The front desk had a trainee and she was lost, but I was informed that did not have a three bed suite. Then I was told they did and we got one. The room was fine and worked for the one night we were there. Beds were very good.

Recently I stayed at this motel for a week long trip to watch spring training baseball. I wish to be fair in my review. The motel is located right off the ten freeway and right next to a gentleman's club. This brings some unsavory characters into the area. They often park at the motel. There is a waffle house close by which came in handy, because the free breakfast area is so small that often it is hard to find a place to sit and eat. Having said this, the breakfast is adequate and the waffles were my favorite part.

They do have an airport shuttle. You just need to call them when you arrive at the airport. We only waited twenty minutes. We arrived early and they advised us that our room was not going to be ready until after 2pm. They did take our bags and held them till we returned. They were not over friendly at the motel, but not rude either. We did go to the first game and checked in after. There is a nightly reception with free drinks. The bar has mixed drinks and beer. I believe the first two drinks are free. The wi-fi works great anywhere in the hotel. The rooms are old and the carpet is badly stained, along with the furniture. We had a suite which had two bathrooms and that did work well. There is also a Circle K right next to the hotel for snack and drinks. We were placed in a room to the very rear of the motel. During the night our car was broken into and our GPS was stolen. The motel could care less. I know they are not responsible for items left in the car and that you park at your own risk, but some compassion as their customer would have been expected. By the way, the GPS unit was in the center console of the car and not visible, in case you were wondering.

The breakfast area is small and can accommodate maybe twenty people at a time. Plan on going to breakfast super early or do like we did and get breakfast at one of the local restaurants. One day we received no maid service, this was true of the other two rooms we we rented for our party as well.

I will say the beds are comfortable and very soft. This is a dog friendly hotel and I am not talking just small dogs. I did not partake of the pool, but saw plenty of people at the pool. It was small for a motel of this size and there was no where to sit or lie out.

We left the motel and went to stay at the Phoenix Hyatt Downtown, which seemed like heaven when compared to this place.

This hotel is in a good location for easy access to ball parks etc during Spring Training. We got there after midnight and got a dumpy last room. But we were moved to a better room the next day. Beds were really comfy.
Staff were mostly helpful.
They provide an adequate [mass produced] breakfast, but it gets pretty crowded. Happy hour is better with 2 free drinks

Room Tip: All rooms are pretty sound proofed. Stay clear of pool area when college students are there

I booked this through a website where the Hotel name is not listed. I am cheap. nuff said. My biddy and I went to Arizona to take in some college basketball games and a couple rounds of golf.

Check-in was quick and easy, no problems. Front desk was polite and helpful. Our room was at the back of the property. It was next to the ball and tennis courts. No one was using them so no noise.

Room was large and clean. some stains on the carpet, but other than that no problems. Shower had endless hot water and lots of pressure. Lots of clean towels every day throughout our 4-night stay.

Beds were VERY comfortable, no complaints at all about that.

The breakfast buffet was OK. Not a lot of seating, so we brought our food back to our room. We didn't use the swimming pool or spa, but it was always being used OR being cleaned. (good sign)

Putting greens are a joke. 10 foot by 10 foot square with two holes. Playpark is small, but was being used by kids.

Internet did go down a lot at random times, that got frustrating.

Overall not bad. My price was bundled in with airfare and car rental, so I can't comment on the rate. But it was clean, provided a VERY comfortable sleep at night and is very conveniently located across the street from some GREAT shopping and eating.

The room VS the pictures in the ads - ads won. Our room was nothing like the photos in the ads - but it had a nice TV. The breakfast room as much too samll for the capacity of the hotel. On most mornings we were sitting outside, or taking stuff back to the room. Of the 7 nights we were there we had to get new keys 4 times. The shuttle was unavailabe for an airport pick-up, "Just take a cab, and we will take care of it" We had booked our reservation online and well inadvance so our rate made us somewhat forgiving.
