We booked this hotel for the Pac 12 championship between Stanford and ASU. We were going to an alumni association tailgate, and the local alums warned us that ASU jacks up the price of parking to $40 for big games. The hotel warned us that driving after games is ugly, so we planned to ride the hotel's free shuttle to the tailgate and walk back afterward. But the weather was cool and we missed the 3:00 shuttle, so we walked both ways, about ten pleasant minutes of flat Tempe desert.

We didn't experience any of the difficulties reported in recent reviews. We were on the 4th floor and heard neither aircraft nor other guests. The hotel is newish, neat and clean. The breakfast was a notch above hotels of this genre (waffles, bacon and eggs, not just continental), the price was right, and our stay was as close to perfect as I can imagine.

We were in Tempe visiting our daughter. I read quite a few reviews here in TA before selecting this hotel. Unfortunately, we were disappointed, overall.
My first impression wasn't good, and it went down hill from there. As I entered the hotel to check-in, there were several people at tables out front, near the entrance, talking very loudly & smoking. P.U. As I entered the lobby it got even louder, with quite a few men in the breakfast room just to the left, again VERY loud, popcorn all over the floors and kids roaming around.
Check in was fine, although the young man never made eye contact with me. I requested a quiet room, away from elevators, stairways, ice maker & highest floor, as quiet as possible - we were there to sleep. He assured me this met my request. We were on the 3rd floor (not 4th), and not next to the elevator, but instead a young boys hockey team. The kids seemed unsupervised for the most part, and were roaming the halls, yelling, slamming doors as they went from room to room. Hmmmm... We figured we'll see how it goes.
We had a "suite", with a separate bedroom, fridge, microwave & coffee maker & sitting room/fold out bed. The sitting room was very small, and so was the bed. There are 4 of us, so it was definitely cramped. The fold out bed was not horrible, but definitely not good. It was late & we had just driven in from Sacramento, Ca & all we wanted to do was sleep. Our daughters said they could sleep on it.
I want so much to give this hotel a good review, but there were so many things that just weren't up to par. First thing we notice is that they have attached an orange extension cord to the wall to provide power to the fridge/micro/coffee maker cupboard. it was completely functional, but really tacky. In the hallway to the bedroom there appeared to be some sort of major repair and a 2' X 3' section of sheet rock was replaced, simply by screwing in a new piece, no mud or tape to cover the seams, so it really stood out, just looks really bad. The toilet paper holder was broken, and toilet paper was just sitting on the counter. The only window, in the bedroom, looks out on a storage facility, where homeless folks were bedding don for the night, very sad. The window is not dual pane and the road noise was very loud, as well as the planes flying over head. (Yes, this hotel is in the airports flight path. Close enough that the planes had their landing gear out. How did no one mention this in previous reviews?) The way the hotel is sitting, there are no rooms that actually face towards or away from the road, so there is no way to escape the road noise. There is a nude bar across the street, but I didn't feel this was a problem.
We went to bed & hoped for the best. No luck there. Kids continued to run up & down the hall and were very loud. Hubby called the front desk & asked for some quiet. This helped. I still had to use ear plugs to sleep. The walls are very thin & we could hear people walking in the room above us as well as the room next to us, and anyone that went up & down the hall. In the bedroom we could also hear spanish music coming from a club up the street. And then the airplanes...
Breakfast was okay. It's free. The first morning there were something that looked like little pancakes, turned out they were scrambled egg patties? Didn't taste very good. Waffles, fruit, cereal, etc were okay. Coffee was just okay. Second morning (still kicking ourselves for staying) there were red potatoes, bacon & an egg something that was shaped like a little taco, with a strong cheese flavor. But hey, it's free.
Came back the second evening to the boys playing hockey in the hallway. Heard from the maids that the kids took all the do not disturb signs off the doors the previous night, so maids got yelled at for disturbing folks who didn't want service yet. We called the desk again, asking for some quiet. They were working on it. They couldn't find the parents. Apparently they were all in the breakfast room again, drunk, hence how loud they all were. Really sad.
We did use the pool our second day, and it was (blissfully) empty of kids & very quiet. It is also very warm (heated) and very clean. We enjoyed a couple hours of sun & relaxation.
We left at 6:00 the next morning.
I am not picky, and all I really ask of a hotel is that it is clean, in good repair and QUIET. We rent hotel rooms to sleep!
We would never stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room as far away from the road (close to the pool) as possible, and not on the first floor...

I was in town for work related reasons. I felt the hotel was very comfortable, spacious and accommodating. Rooms include a refrigerator and microwave, a nice touch when you are looking to save some extra money, they have a great breakfast and excellent coffee! Other amenities included free wi-fi and a shuttle that would take you in a 5 mile radius for free. I left for the airport before the shuttle was running, the front desk made arrangements for a taxi to get me and gave me a voucher for the taxi, I was just responsible for the tip.....what a surprise amenity that was. Location is somewhat removed from Mills Avenue and all the restaurants and bars that are down there, so I would take advantage of the shuttle to get down there.....then you do not have to pay to park ( there are minimal restaurants located near this hotel).

Room Tip: Stay away from the elevators. I was right near the elevator and could hear it clearly in my room.

We stay here every time we have an early flight out of Sky Harbour. There are many hotels to choose from that offer the 'park & fly' packages, but this hotel is so far the best we have tried. They provide a great breakfast and the staff is always friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and clean!

This hotel is located close to the ASU stadium. Walking distance is 20 minutes walking to the steps.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. There is a small work out area, laundry, and a pool with jacuzzi. The hotel has popcorn and cookies at night in the lobby. In the morning there is a decent breakfast of eggs, salsa, toast, cereal, juice, and yogurt. The hotel has a free shuttle to the airport.

The rooms are spacious and moderately decorated. The beds are normal comfort, bathrooms clean and has amenities, and free WIFI. There is parking at the hotel.

A short walk from the hotel is an In and Out, a Jersey Mikes Subs, Pancheros, and Starbucks.
