Very enjoyable lunch. I had fried oysters and my wife had an oyster po'boy. Both were very good. Seafood in the Phoenix area is not very plentiful even in grocery stores so this was extra treat. Fried oysters did not come with a "side," which I found surprising since the po'boy did. Not a problem since my wife shared her fries.

Casey Moore's Oyster House is a cozy (but huge) bar/restaurant near the ASU campus in Tempe. CM's is located in a rambling old house that is now surrounded with huge, covered outside seating areas. The food was excellent for a college bar. Prices and service were good.

Although the place is set off from Mill and seemingly hard to find, it is well know by the Tempe crowd and a hot spot to be. In what used to be a former house, Casey Moores is a solid restaurant/bar. The food won't blow you away but is always solid and the drinks are always strong and good. At nighttime this places fills up college kids to parents hanging out and having a good time. Definitely a great alternative to Mill if you are in Tempe.

The first several times I was at Casey's (could be considered a local dive bar) I had no idea they even served food. There is a bar right on the back patio, and one straight in between u and the bathroom from the front door, so I got my drinks and enjoyed them. One afternoon I stopped i for a beer and realized they served food too. I didn't have anything spectacular, but food was alright. I love it for the bar scene, all the different types of people you will see come in and out of the bar/patio. Caseys is definitely the best chill bar with mostly outdoor seating. Sat inside once or twice and it can get a lil creepy in there,

So we went here on the recommendation of a friend who was meeting family here for a few drinks. Being in Arizona the majority of the place being outside is definitely a plus.
We only had drinks but they do offer what appeared to be typical bar food. The place is local which makes it interesting and draws a very variety of people.
This is a place for mostly a younger crowd and for people who want to hang out and do not mind a lot of noise.
