“I tried to steal the bed”

Very comfortable bed and very welcome hosts. Fonts of local knowledge and a little more besides. If only Moe could come up with an idea on where and how to hang clothes in the smallish cabins, I'd give it five stars. Four and a half as it is. Stay, and I doubt you'd regret it.......

We stayed in the "honeymoon cabin" and it was very cute. Also terribly cramped, but super clean and comfortable in every way. We would have appreciated a brighter light bulb and somewhere to hang up our clothes (there was a ladder in the corner and a hat rack) but it was a perfect location and the people were very, very nice. The bed was comfortable and the linens and towels were brand-new. We had a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Tombstone is a funny little town and the Stampede is part of an RV park which adds to the atmosphere. Our cabin faced a neighborhood street and we were vastly entertained by the two local chihuahuas named Tiny and MudButt who thought they were the biggest and toughest things in town. Also by a garage sale down the block--so I came home with some treasures. The neighborhood was very quiet at night and we slept well. We had a porch with chairs and a table to enjoy the outdoors.

Breakfast was in their restaurant, a home-cooked meal and so good that both guests and locals eat there. We got advice about where to go and what to see as we ate our breakfast; it's always best to talk to people who live in the town you're visiting.

When we return to Tombstone we will definitely stay here!

Very friendly service. Breakfast was good home cooking. Nothing fancy but good and filling. Room was clean and comfortable. Cute porch with little table and chairs to enjoy the mornings/ nights. Owners were very knowledgable about Tombstone history and gave good advice about area attractions.

Since I was about 10 years old, I have always wanted to visit Tombstone and this year I finally made the pilgrimage. The Stampede made this trip outstanding and memorable.
Moe & Sue Sinsley were thoughtful, well informed and helpful as people in service business should be but seldom are. Our cabin was in a peaceful area and comfortable, within easy walking distance of the sites from Allen Street to Boot Hill to Nellie Cashman‘s and beyond. Breakfast--prepared by a truly superb cook--was a marvelous way to start the day and defines the over used phrase “home cooking.”
When we return, we will definitely stay at the Stampede.
Don't miss the sunset!
Joseph & Magda

The cabins at Stampede are so much better than the average bed and breakfast. We had our own private cabin. There are no noisy neighbors to contend with and you have your own private bathroom. Breakfast was great and made to order. It was much better than the cold continental breakfasts you receive at chain hotels. It was a wonderful place and it was within walking distance of downtown Tombstone.

Our stay at the Stampede was just like being at home. Our family enjoyed the old west atmosphere and the park was so peaceful. We really enjoyed the clean, spacious, hot showers! Our boys were in walking distance of all the festivities and they enjoyed walking back and forth. The entire family felt that we took a step back in time with all the history and all the friendly faces. The park owners were so nice to us and you can tell they truly love their town. We ate breakfast in their little cafe and the food was out of this world! We all felt like we were eating at our grandma's house with good ol' fashion cooking." We enjoyed it so much, we are coming back during Christmas for 2 weeks. The Stampede is a must if you want to feel like your at "home sweet home.

We stayed in the RV park of Stampede. We have a large family with young children. We had the best time ever here. The food in the Morning was awesome...just like your mom would make and reasonable prices. The Rv park is clean with wonderful restrooms and laundry facilities. We felt right at home. You are with in walking distace to down town. When we left the kids were beggind us "to stay here forever". This says it all!!
