This is the old-fashioned kind of motel where you park in front of your room and the door opens to the great outdoors. No plastic swipe card-- you get a real key. There are some benches on the covered area between the parking and the rooms so you can sit outside and visit with your neighbors. There is a vending machine for sodas and an ice machine near the office. A nice array of native cactus and desert plants are in the center of the parking area, something pretty to look at.

We had a two queen room that came with a small coffee maker and a mini fridge sitting on the desk. It also had a small couch facing the TV. The closet was ample. We had plenty of space to spread out. As stated in other reviews, the bathroom is small. Not a lot of places to put things since the coffee service items take up a shelf. The toiletries offered were of good quality and smelled nice.

It may have been my imagination but the sink seemed really short-- I'm sure it is standard size but I seemed to have to bend way over to get my head under the faucet to wash my hair. Kinda funny actually.

The bed had comfortable linens and we slept well. The only really bothersome thing in the room was the loud air conditioning--even on low fan it was loud, but it was effective. There are plenty of windows to open if you'd rather have fresh air, and no bothersome street noise.

We had a rate of $85, which I suppose is OK for a tourist town but seems a bit high otherwise since there is no breakfast offered. We had an early departure so did not try the local restaurants for breakfast. The Circle K down the main street does have good coffee and an array of breakfast sandwiches that are not terrible. But for a clean and well-appointed room within walking distance of all the sights, this is a motel that should not disappoint.

My husband and I stayed a couple nights here and have only great things to say about the Larian! Clean, comfortable, big rooms, flat screen TV's, wifi that worked really well and incredibly helpful and friendly service! We slept great and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It's a super quick and easy walk across the street to the main tourist area. The location couldn't be any better! Boothill Graveyard is right up the road, too! No complaints at all and we will definitely be back! We stayed in the Curly Bill room and had 3 paranormal experience's, but I'm a psychic
/medium and have them everywhere we go. You won't regret staying at the Larian Motel!

We are frequent visitors and stayed several places in "Our town too tough to die". The Larian has remodeled and is THE BEST! Stayed in the Clanton's room and was very clean, comfortable and cozy! Staff was wonderful and our stay was great! Our dog was treated as we were - very welcomed! If traveling to Tombstone try to stay here although they book well in advance because this place is the BEST! Kudos to owner and staff!! We loved it there!

Room Tip: Rooms are best in Tombstone. Trying for reservations for an event weekend but they are booked :(

This place was a recommendation, and we were happy to stay there. The staff was great and helpful. Rooms were clean and accommodating, and it was within walking distance to all of the attractions. We would stay here again!

Stayed for a couple of nights and everything was very nice, clean and convenient. The owner was very friendly and made copious recommendations. All that has been said in other positive reviews I can endorse.

An awesome place to stay. Rooms are small but clean and neat. The proprietor was so nice and friendly, always willing to answer questions and make suggestions about local restaurants. The only drawback was the a/c was noisy.

My husband and I stayed at the Larian Motel over the Easter weekend. We stayed in Room #1, the Sheriff Johnny Behan room. It was everything I had read in the reviews. Very clean and comfortable bed and so close to everything. It was great knowing the OK Corral was right across the street too. Gordon and Linda were very friendly. I had heard that rooms through 1-4 were supposedly haunted so I was excited to experience something. Someone had said that you can sometimes hear old fashioned music. Well, I listened, but all I could hear was music coming from the Saloons on Allen St. - I assumed or was I hearing music from the past? Who knows. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it!

Room Tip: There are only 14 rooms, no pool or fitness centre. Who needs them, you're going to be walking...
