Staff seemed friendly enough when we first checked in. We were told about the amenities, that included a pool, full breakfast and wi-fi internet to name a few.
After getting settled I went over to the pool for a quick dip after a long ride to find it drained, with a construction worker digging a hole in the deep end. Decided to settle for a shower, however there was only scolding hot water, no cold water option. I then tried to get online for a quick email check before heading out for dinner, and was not able to connect.
All 4 of my friends and I went to the front desk to complain, and was met with an unappologetic front desk staff, and the manager just stood against the back wall and watched as we were refunded our money.
The room was decent, with nice linens and working air conditioning and the location was decent for getting to the beach, or to other restaurants.
Hotel Diuwak was not worth the $120/night, not even close.More
