The day around and on Cano Island was amazing, nice weather, clear view, great visability under water and we saw lots of sharks, seaturtles, sting rays and a few 5meter mantas at the devil's rock. One of the highlights was the lunch at the end. A great meal with fish, rice and salad. All in all it was a great day and we would definitely do it again.

we took a boat from drake bay to cano island. there were many different fish to see. the only downfall was there were small jellyfish that stung. we had lunch on a private island. worth doing

I would have enjoyed this more but I got stung my a jellyfish. I had a bad reaction but otherwise we saw sharks, turtles, lots of fish and a couple of dolphins on the boat ride there. You aren't allowed on Canon Island so we went back to a beach on the mainland for lunch.

If you want to see big animals, this diving adventure is for you. We saw a very large ray, a whale shark and a school of about 300 baricuda surrounding us. Their mirrored bodies created a disco-ball envirnoment under water. Go with Lynn's (not sure the name of it) dive shop. (ask at the B&B Finca Marisea for his information). He's great!!

A little disappointing for snorkelling as the range of fish was limited compared with other sites and the reef not so colourful. Quite a few other boats coming and going didn't help in terms of noise and disturbance. The highlight was the encounter with a pod of dolphins on the return trip.
