This hotel is nothing special, but we thought the location was an interestng spot. We would have rated this as a three star hotel rather than two star, and the $118 we paid for a standard room (incl breakfast) seemed about right.
The hotel is in the small Navajo town of Tuba City: convenient for us as we were 1/2 way from the Grand Canyon to Monument Valley. The only annoyance here was the panhandlers at the gas station: get yiur gas elsewhere. There is an interestg Navajo Museum right adjacent to the hotel, and displays of the history of the place in the Hotel itself.
The room was just OK. Generous size, clean bathroom that worked, and good old fashioned fittings: hot tap and cold tap. We like that! It looked onto an internal grassed area, pleasant enough and a green change from the rest of Tuba City. Pretty basic furnishings but functional, and good room lighting. Bed was king size and a good night sleep.
Breakfast included was pretty basic, a choice of about three dishes, or $6 per person off the check. That covered about 1/2 what we (two) paid. Others have commented about the service, which was generally slow and perfunctory.
