Being a new hotel, it is still nice. The AC unit in the room is the loudest I have ever encountered! If you want to watch TV, it's very hard to hear it unless you turn the volume up to an uncomfortable level. The room was above average, but beware there is only 1 restaurant in the area, Dennys, and 2 fast food.

really well designed, well appointed very spacious relaxing hotel, a jewel in the otherwise remote travel-stop town of Tuba City. Its a brand new hotel recently finished, and obviously lots of attention was given to details and making it a showpiece of the local native indian people who own it. Duly, you are asked respectfully requested not to take alcohol onto the premsies, which wasn't a problem for us. Complimentary breakfast was whisked away promptly (coffee, juice and all) I think it was 9am, which seemed a little early, but there's a new Denny's right next door as backup..... Looked like they have some good conference facilities too for anyone thinking about that. Overall a perfect short stay and reasonably priced too, so uness you're on a very squeezed budget really don't bother with the other average motels nearby.

Stayed here with a buddy in April 2012 for two nights on the way from the Grand Canyon to Monument Valley, having read the reviews on TripAdvisor. We had only planned on one night but my friend got sick. We were pleased with the place. It was clean, spacious, decorated nicely, comfortable, great cable channels, etc. We did miss having a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold. Not cheap but there is not a lot of choice in the area and we felt we got value for money. Denny's was right next door and we ate there twice. The hotel staff was courteous and/or friendly as well as efficient, and people seemed to be working all the time to polish and clean. I would certainly recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Driving through this part of Arizona, you get an appreciation for how remote, and somewhat bleak, your surroundings can be. So, it was nice to see that the Moenkopi Inn was as advertised. Operated by the Hopi nation, check-in at the Inn was very easy and pleasant, although reception would not give us a roll-away for the double room we had. Outdoor pool was beautifully landscaped, but not yet open in mid-April. Room was very nice, clean, and plenty of pillows. All equipment was working in the fitness center, which was a nice surprise, as this doesn't seem to be the case in many hotel I've stayed in.

Breakfast was included in room rate, and offered a decent selection of both hot (eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal) and cold (cereal, toast) items. We have three boys, and they all ate heartily, so while some earlier reviews had complaints about the food, we didn't find any.

Tuba City was a stop-over for us on a longer journey, so didn't eat anywhere else, but if you are traveling through this area, this hotel would be one to check into.

Coming upon this hotel in such a remote location was a treat. It's a nicely designed, even plush place, with a distinctive Southwestern feel to it. Our room was most comfortable. The staff was helpful. The only negative was that the pool, even though it appeared ready for swimmers, was not yet open.

My guess is that 80% of folks who stay here are either coming from or going to Grand Canyon and so it was with us heading to Four Corners next day. It’s a surprising place, you certainly can’t miss it. It kind of jumps out at you in Tuba as the rest of it is so grim.
LOCATION - Right there on the Crossroads, next to the gas station.
1st IMPRESSIONS - Not great as we arrived on our motorcycle we were pan handled by one of the locals whilst 3 others in a beat up pick up looked on. I didn’t pay him though the thought crossed my mind that may be I should have being on a bike.
GREETING - Cheerful and friendly greeting by a nice girl on reception. She was concerned we were on a bike though and assured me the security guard would keep a special eye on it.
PUBLIC AREAS - The reception is huge and very nice indeed, nice comfortable seating area, open fireplace and plenty of Native American art. I could see that the architect had done a really special job here. The corridors were Vegas wide. Some of the hotel rooms I stayed in on this trip could have fitted in them. Really spacious and light.
ROOM - Really big room, nicely decorated, quality fittings and a nice large bathroom with quality toiletries. A really delightful room.
FOOD - The only meal we tried for was breakfast and it was a bun fight in there so we ducked out and went to Denny's next door. As for dinner the previous night we went to the Tuuvi Cafe. The folks were friendly but the food wasn’t so wonderful as others have made it to be.
SERVICE - Excellent service, my bike was in one piece next day so the security guy did a good job. My only complaint is that the hotel does not take cash for anything.
CONCLUSION - A great stay and a good nights sleep.

We stayed at this hotel for a night before heading into the Grand Canyon, and it's quite a lovely hotel. Brand new, clean, affordable. The pool wasn't open, and the breakfast buffet was standard fare (but free). We were looking forward to eating traditional Hopi food at the Tuuvi Cafe, which gets good reviews here on Trip Advisor, but it was pretty lousy - don't recommend it.

Tuba City isn't anything to write home about, but it's reasonably close to the GC, and it's also close to the Wupatki National Monument and Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, both of which I'd highly recommend.

Room Tip: We upgraded to a suite, to have a little more space, and it was a very nice room.
