We have just returned from our first visit to Cyprus, staying at Paradisos Hills for a week. It's hard to imagine anywhere lovelier.
The room was clean and comfortable with doors opening onto the garden and a view of both sea and hills. At night the stars were just amazing.
Soula and Niki have created a very special place which is relaxing and friendly and with fabulous food. The restaurant and terrace overlook the pool, the sea and the hills.
We enjoyed having a car so that we could explore the surrounding area, visiting Paphos, the Akamas Peninsula and the western side of the Troodos mountains. But if you're looking for a place just to rest and relax then it would be easy not to stray far, and being a bit higher was a bit cooler than down on the coast with a very pleasant breeze.
The pool, though just a tiny bit chilly at the end of September, had the same beautiful views.
If we ever go back to Cyprus, it would be hard to imagine staying anywhere else.More
