The purpose of our holiday was rest and relaxation away from the masses. Niki and Soulla ensured that's exactly what we got with their wonderful hospitality and lovely and charming hotel. Originally we thought a private villa was what we craved but Paradisos Hills has exactly that feel and with wonderful rooms, views and of course the food. Welcomed in the early hours with soup and having had Baklava made especially for me with a complimentary late check out on our final day, first impressions, last impressions and everything in between we're amazing (and exceeded our high expectations having read the great reviews) unsure as to why this place has so few stars, for us (and what we were looking for) it was 5 star excellence.

We had a great stay with Soula and Niki which was excellent. Clean comfortable rooms and they went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The area is up in the hills and very peaceful. Great hill walking and horse riding nearby. Niki's traditional Cypriot food is great!
Good beach at Latsi and excellent walking in the Akamas peninsula, both about half an hour by car.

A lovely friendly family Hotel . We stayed as part of a Cycling Holiday run by HC Travel . A self guided trip just the two of us . we arrived at nearly midnight but the owner waited up and gave us a cold platter and a beer , well needed after the long trip . we used it as a base for 3 days riding in the Trofos Mountains . Fantastic area of Cyprus , great food and Hospitality . Far away from the Madding Hoards of Coral bay and a feel of rural Cyprus . The Cycling was great as well . if you are after a chilled out holiday I'd recommend it .

Room Tip: Ask for one facing the coast down towards the Bay . great view

I visited this excellent place with my wife and another couple. We spent an amazing weekend. The place is built in a low-vegetation, small forest, on the mountain. The view is amazing. Everything is relaxed and calm. This is a place to have good food, wine and relax. Visit the place! Do not miss! The price is excellent. You get value for your money....Take your PE clothes because this is an ideal place to walk around the villages and enjoy the view and the nature. Are you still here reading this review?...go book a room now!

We had been to Paradisos Hills before and found the place absolutely breath-taking. A year and a half ago, the service was excellent, the two owners friendly and hospitable, going out of their way to serve as the best home made food they had and to cater to the needs of our two young children. We returned to Paradisos Hills with three other families with young children (ages 1 year-8 years), highly recommending the place and urging them to join us for a short vacation. Sadly, we all left disappointed and it is unlikely that we will return. The two ladies are very nice of course but they need to hire more staff. This second time we went, it was clear that being overworked got to them. Their schedule is indeed insane-- and inhuman-- so on some level we could not expect much more than we got. On the other hand, when one goes on vacation and pays not an insignificant amount, there are some basic expectations. I am not sure if we were unwelcome because of the many kids we had with us, but that is how we felt. And, granted, by any measure our kids are very well behaved, used to touring the world, staying in hotels, and behaving appropriately for the context and cultural norms. The food left much to be desired, was nothing like what we had experienced the year before. The bread was no longer home made, on one morning it was in fact from the fridge. Sometimes dinner was left overs from lunch, turned into something else. Requesting filter coffee for breakfast (rather than instant coffee) meant an extra charge... All these little details that left a bad taste in our mouth. The scene remains of course wonderful but the service is just not what it should be. The rooms could be cleaner and better taken care of. A little rug would help as the floor gets cold, for example. All these details that seem to have fallen by the wayside, again because the owners are simply overworked which is a shame really. I empathize deeply-- but as a customer can no longer recommend this place.

Dear Alexia,

We would like to thank you for choosing our hotel and recomending us to your friends.

We are really sorry to have disappointed you on your last visit.

It is very important to us that all our customers leave happy and we are sorry if we have let you down.

As it is well known we are a family run hotel and children are always a part of every family. We apologise if you were made to feel that children are unwelcome, this is not the case On the same note we try to ensure that our corridors are quite especially outside rooms so as not to disturb other guests. Once again we try our best to ensure that all our guests are happy.

As for our food, Niki still makes home made bread, she may have missed a day. We have the a la carte menu where the food is made to order, and we also have daily specials. We keep the sliced bread for toast in the fridge as it keeps better especially now that the temperatures are rising and I will talk to our cleaning staff to take additional care with the cleanliness of the rooms.

As for the service, we apologise if it wasn't as good as it should have been. We do work long hours but we enjoy what we do. We employ additional staff for busy occasions like Sunday Buffet Lunch.

Despite your disappointment we do hope you will give us another chance and we will try and improve on all the points that you mentioned.

Best regards,

Soulla
