We had the misfortune of ONLY being able to stay in Tubac one evening... There is not a lot there to choose from but we chose the Tubac Country Inn. First off, on fairly short notice we got a room... no minimum stay required. Late arrival would be met with a key in the door for us. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable (we had the double queen room, 4 other configurations are available). The hosts were super friendly and informative. There is a "start your own fire" fireplace in a cozy patio in the front garden / yard area... we sat out and enjoyed that and the stars after a great meal at Elvira's. A light continental breakfast was delivered in a basket at 730am... it was nothing special but held us over till an early lunch... or biggest disappointment was leaving after only one night.

A reasonable inn, we were warmly welcomed. Prior to arriving our "hostess", told use we would receive a morning basket with breakfast goodies and that we should bring what ever food we wanted for snacking . We brought wine, crackers and cheese and fresh coffee beans (they have grinder in the room), breakfast was fresh fruit, croissant, cheese, juice, yogurt. The room was comfortable, nicely furnished and clean, even a blanket for sitting by the fire. She gave us lots of tips for restaurants and other places of interest. Then set us up with dry matches and plenty of wood and kindling for a cozy fire under the stars. Town lights turn off about 8pm. A very romantic getaway.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Dec 10 and I would definitely stay here again if visiting Tubac. We arrived to check in just as our hosts were about to leave and had already written us a welcome note. They were extremely hospitable when we arrived and delayed their leaving in order to make sure we were sorted out. I generally don't use B&B's as don't want to be tied to getting to breakfast at a particular time, and mornings aren't my thing so am not good at polite conversation until I'm awake but the Tubac Inn was perfect as our hosts arrived some time just after 7am and left breakfast in a basket outside the door each morning. The breakfast of pastries, fruit and cheese was just right to get you started and on your way and I really appreciated this way of doing B&B. The Inn sits right at the end of the main street so everything is walkable within Tubac for shopping or visiting the Presidio and it makes a great base for visiting Tumacacori and the local area. Our room was beautiful, very spacious and included a small kitchen with everything we needed. The garden was lovely and I think we were at the Inn at a quite time as I wasn't aware of many other guests but even if it had been full there is enough of a garden and deck with seating etc that you can still keep some privacy if you want to. It's not a budget experience but I would definitely stay here again if visiting Tubac.

This lovely little B&B is located in the the village of Tubac, AZ. It was quiet, comfortable, and just what we needed after a long drive from busy Phoenix. It was a bit chilly the afternoon we arrived, so we lit a fire in the outdoor fireplace and sat with a glass of wine and snacks. Perfect. Our hostess was pleasant, and provided a nice breakfast basket the following morning. I recommend this place for a weekend get-a-way, or a stop over if you're diving the SW.

WOW! WOW! WOW! A first class Inn and to top it off, FIRST CLASS OWNERS AND OPERATORS!
I was a guest instructor for the AZ Professional Photographers workshop and we spent a couple of days shooting within the Inn. Great, very private location and many opportunities to teach and have a GREAT time. April (owner) has become a dear friend and we will defintntly be staying with the Tubac Country Inn again and again. The accomundations were great and very confortable. Walking distance to all of the neat shops of Tubac. The Inn made our trip really worthwhile and such a quaint cozy facility to just BE! .

I took a group to the Tubac Country Inn for a photography seminar and rented the entire Inn. Our host April was extremely helpful and fun. She was great in the planning stages and even when we brought in photographers who were staying at a nearby property invaded she was the gracious host. There are 5 rooms and all have their own pleasant personality. As we were driving home my wife was asking when we were coming back!

We stopped in and they luckily had 2 rooms available. There were 7 of us, ranging from 12 to 75. Accomodation was great, breakfast very nicely presented and enjoyable. We sat outside in the garden having sundowners, while we made a fire. It was a great place to stay.
