“Great hospitality!”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

This place was fantastic! I stayed in a large, well decorated suite with my family. I didn't expect something so modern and clean near the Grand Canyon. Front desk was super friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was perfect, and the roll away bed I requested was promptly delivered. Had a great trip in part thanks to a comfortable stay.

The check in staff were pleasant and processed things quickly. Our room was a reasonable size and the two large beds were very comfortable , as were the pillows. The bath was very small ( if you like to bathe) with an efficient shower within it. The air con was quiet and efficient.
As previous people have said, the wifi is free, but slow due to location, particularly at busy times eg early evening.
The food was ok for just one or two nights, and they use paper plates/cups and plastic cutlery for ease.
There was a pool but we didn't use it and therefore am unable to comment. Plenty of parking.
Overall this hotel is a good value choice for visiting the Grand Canyon which is about 15 minutes away and we would use it again.

Recently stayed here while on a visit to the Grand Canyon National Park. It was a great place to stay, just minutes from the park entrance with better food options than the hotels within the park itself available in the town of Tusayan. Accomodations were as expected for a Holiday Inn - we had a suite which was plenty of room for my family of 4. Breakfast was not so great. If going to the park, plan on going early to beat the rush of traffic coming from further locations.

I wish I could remember the name of the lady along with Michael and Elemi (?) they helped us move our reservation back a day because of being delayed in our travels and hooked us up with a second night even though it was apparently overbooked, perhaps because we are IHG members. The place was clean, we were in the quiet building, the breakfast was great and because of them we really enjoyed our Grand Canyon Experience.

Room Tip: Book Early because you may not get lucky like we did. The back building is very quiet

Stayed here after a day at th Grand Canyon. Checked in efficiently although having unloaded all our bags were told we were in the annex of the hotel! Room was large, clean and comfortable- would have liked to have stayed longer! Great location, good wifi and good breakfast although not enough tables. Did feel that the annex part that we stayed in lacked some of the atmosphere we found in the main hotel; that said it was quieter where we were and allowed us to get a good night sleep. Would recommend!

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the annex if you wasn't a quieter stay!

We stayed here the night before mule ride down to Phantom Ranch. Accommodations were good for family of 4. We had to leave before breakfast was served and we asked about getting something simple before leaving (I was thinking about a piece of fruit or a mini-box of cereal) and when the manager heard us ask about this, she immediately came out to offer a to-go-bag breakfast. What a great help!!! We got an apple, a banana, a yogurt, a cinnamon roll and a bagel with cream cheese. A great start to an exciting adventure in the Grand Canyon.
Can't say enough about their helpfulness. Easy access to GC south rim.

We have never been to the Grand Canyon before and didnt know what to expect. The little town (street?) that is Tusayan is a mini tourist block. This hotel was the most affordable on the block and in normal circumstances would be the price of a luxury first class hotel. But, since this is the Grand Canyon, all prices (gas station, mcdonalds, etc.) are escalated. The hotel was very busy, the staff were very friendly, our room was clean, beds were very comfortable and soft pillows/blankets/towels. There were many channels on the TV, but the wifi was pretty much nonexistent (there is a note in the room stating why). Overall a very good place to stay if you plan to enjoy Grand Canyon National Park (literally 5-10 minutes down the road)
