This hotel has been renovated and is just lovely. We were surprised by the value we received for our money! Our room was in the main building on the top floor. Our king deluxe room came with a free breakfast which was just ok. The hot entrees were tepid at best and the eggs were barely edible. That is why I only gave this 4 stars. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the food there. We were able to split an entree without being charged an extra fee like some restaurants do. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Request a room in the main building to be close to the breakfast location and the restaurants.

We came to the Best Western Squire Inn at the gate to the Grand Canyon for a family getaway. We keep kosher, so we can't eat things prepared in hotel restaurants and have to bring our own food. The hotel and its staff were amazing at helping us out. The food and beverage manager was waiting for us when we arrived at 9PM on a sunday night. He had set aside an extra refrigerator in our room, and a dedicated fridge in their kitchen. Their chef (who had experience in kosher catering) had even cleaned and koshered an extra oven in one of their kitchens for us. At breakfast they set aside boxes of kosher donuts, muffins, crescent rolls, french toast, cereal, fruit cups, etc. etc. just for our use and even gave us new plates and bowls. They heated the food we had brought from home and set aside a booth in their restaurant for us. The chef checked on us every morning and the F&B manager every evening to make sure that we were being taken care of. These guys truly defined hospitality.

This hotel exceeds all expectations when it comes to service & accommodations! From the lobby to the guest suites, it is clean, spacious & welcoming staff. The huge room was absolute luxury with a huge bathroom/bathtub & very spacious bedroom. The beds were divine! and then we had a delicious breakfast in the Navajo Room, with the over-the-top service being that they went out of their way to provide me with gluten free bread. Truly above & beyond what I expected.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western right outside the entrance of the Grand Canyon. I was very nice and clean and went above and beyond the norm. The breakfast was fabulous. The only thing we didn't like was that the buildings were not connected.

The rooms were very large and welcoming. Beds very comfortable. Nice breakfast and lots of seating. Nice place to stay at the end of a very long day. Steak house right in the hotel really helped too. The kids were done for the day in the car! will be going back again in a few weeks with more kids!

The pricing of the hotel is high probably because of its proximity to Grand Canyon. It is definitely not value for money for the price I paid.

First encounter with the unfriendly staff at the restaurant already puts me off. We needed hot water and when we requested for it at the reception, the staff referred us to the restaurant. The staff refused to give us hot water and there is no kettle in the room to allow us to boil hot water. I am of the view that this is poor service. The coffee machine is used for making coffee, hence, using that to boil water will give us water with coffee smell. OR using a microwave is unsafe too.
Is it so difficult to provide a kettle as I am sure there would be families with young kids that need hot water to make their milk.

I also dislike the policy of having to pay US$1.50 for use of the safe deposit box. Why can't the hotel price in every amenities and provide them free ? It really upset me that I have to pay to use the safe deposit box in my hotel room.

The corridor leading to the rooms does not feel clean and mattresses were left lying outside one corner of the block that I was staying. Unpleasant experience! I really do not want to stay in any Best Western hotel in the future when I travel.

This property was very nice, never expected such from a Best Western. The rooms were clean, spacious and good beds. The bathroom had a great tub/shower combo. The breakfast was superb and staff was friendly. The fitness room was adequate and hot tub was relaxing. This proerty also had a game room and bowling alley! Really no complaints.
