“Close the the Canyon”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

Fantastic stay at BW Tusayan! Close to the canyon and pick up location for local grand canyon tour companies.
The lobby is lovely, nice comfy lounge chairs and a bar and restaurant to the left. The bar has a gorgeous fireplace with comfy chairs, perfect for a nightcap after a big day in the canyon.
The room was great, huge really. Big comfy bed, heaps of pillows and a great bathroom with a spa.
Would not hesitate staying again if we make it back to the Canyon again

Another hotel didn't have our accessible room. This hotel met our needs on little notice and were very accommodating. I'd recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Grand Canyon whose southern entrance is just a couple of miles away.

We were here for 3 nights. Really surprised with the quality of the hotel. Big spacious room, great service (especially in the restaurant bar area). Although slightly limited menu, the food in the main restaurant, was very good. We had free buffet breakfast, which was not necessarily great quality, did provide plenty of choice, and set you up for the day. Certainly, worth a visit if in the area.

Clean room with all amenities possible and nice facilities. Right outside the main entrance gate to the GC. Various places to eat or shop in the area. Decent breakfast buffet to help start you day. Polite and very helpful staff. Plenty of free parking close to your room. Spring for the larger room to be more comfortable.

Stayed here for one night last week on our trip to the Grand Canyon. Everything was excellent from the clean, modern and comfortable room to free breakfast and fast and free WiFi. The hotel is only a few miles away from the South rim of the Grand Canyon. The staff is very friendly and helpful, check-in and check-out were a breeze. We got there three hours before the check-in and they had a room ready for us already. That was fantastic after a four hour drive from Las Vegas. It was nice that we could just leave our things in the room, and go and explore the canyon. Otherwise we would have to leave our bags in the car while we were exploring the canyon, and then check in late at night when we were finished. This made things much easier. We also ate dinner at the hotel's Coronado Room restaurant, which was excellent. It was a little on the fancy side and a little pricey, but we didn't mind as it was our anniversary. This hotel is highly recommended, we will stay there again when we go back to the Grand Canyon.

We loved our stay at the Squire Inn. It is a very nice hotel. The staff and amenities were excellent. The complimentary buffett was better than we expected. It was fabulous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that was going to be visiting the Grand Canyon.

This is a very comfortable hotel just a short drive from some of the best views on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. When we arrived, a group of motorcyclists from Italy were congregating in the parking lot, but we never heard these or any other motor noises from the room. The lobby is decorated in rustic lodge style with faux Navaho influence. The heater in the room worked properly and was not excessively loud. The bed was deliciously comfortable, with fluffy pillows and a light but warm duvet. They offered much more than the usual continental fare in more than 20 linear feet of buffet. Staff was constantly refilling the hot foods. The selection of fresh fruit was good. Although there is a pool and exercise room we did not take advantage of either; the reason for our stay was to access the Grand Canyon. The only hotels that are closer are National Park Service lodges that are booked months in advance. It only took about fifteen minutes to drive from the hotel to the parking area at the canyon. Staying here made it possible to be at the best overlooks at sunrise and sunset, and gave us access to fabulous trails into the canyon.
