at first our group said the line is too long. I said that only means the food is good. Great steaks, nice chicken dishes, hamburgers
(fresh ground) even good looking salads.

We went here after our visit to the Grand Canyon. Not many people were there and yet it took a very long time to get service. When the waitress did come she seemed annoyed and lacked any personality. The food finally came and the corn was soggy, the meat was tough, and the beans were horrible! The bathrooms were filthy! To top it all off they automatically put a 15% gratuity on ALL checks! When we went to pay the bill and complain about the poor service they just said "sorry". They didn't seem to care that we were unsatisfied customers.

Had a steak dinner here after long day of hiking in park. The prices were good and steak cooked well, but the corn was way over boiled, the biscuit heavy and beans so-so-- all came with the meal. Forget the rattlesnake appetizer; over priced, small & tasted like fried rubber. I've had it before & it can be better prepared.

Listen to the reviewers and don't go to the Yippee-ei-o! If the owner of this TERRIBLE restaurant is looking at this review, then PLEASE fire your employees and shut down your restaurant!

We had just come out of the Grand Canyon and were hoping for a good dinner. The Yippee-ei-o was one of the first restaurants we came upon when we came out of the Grand Canyon. There wasn't a wait so we took a chance... but man were we wrong! The corn was soggy and steaks were hard. The kids' burgers did not have much flavor and the bun was so hard that my daughter just ate the burger. We asked for some bread for our baby, but instead the waiter brought out a soggy and hard, no tasting biscuit.

Some advice would be if you are going to the Grand Canyon or coming out of the Grand Canyon don't go to Yippee-ei-o! If I could rate this place and give it zero stars... believe me, I would!

Thank Lori E

After a long afternoon at Grand Canyon we were really hungry and this is the place to go when you want fire broiled steaks and home style salad, corn, baked potato and steak or chicken. We had the Half & Half appetizer that was cooked perfectly. Our steak, steak kabob and chicken plates were put away in not time. Large ice teas were very welcome. There were a lot of people that had the same idea of dinner that we had and the service was pretty fast. You can bet that this is our steakhouse when we are up in the Grand Canyon area.
