Beautiful views and a good work out. Vulture Peak Trail meanders through Sonoran Desert landscapes, with saguaro, ocotillo, cholla, barrels, hedgehogs and such. From the base to the saddle is about 2 miles of steep trails. you will be rewarded with dramatic scenic vistas of rugged desert mountain ranges and valleys in all directions. If you are in good shape you may want to try to scramble to the top, there is no maintained trail so care is needed. The wickenburg wilderness also has a great number of rattle snake then any area I have ever been in in Arizona so be caution once the warm month set in. They are usually out between April to September.
It is a good work out.
