We stayed at the Railway for two nights with a night at the Canyon in between. This hotel is a gem. The whole town is quite nice. Rooms and bedding were very comfy and clean. The freight train that blasted through town at 3am both nights with horns blaring was a little over the top.
The meals attached to this package at the railway cafe were adequate for a small town. Buffet style with modest variety but some of the dishes were poorly cooked at dinner times. The breakfast were better, except for the "French toast". Bread soaked in oil and fried.
The only reason I gave the accommodation 4 stars instead of 5 is the poor wifi. It's 2014 people. Travelers expect reliable and quick wifi. Even if it's free it's not much good if it constantly drops out. Charge a little more and install a better service! More
